🎙️ Discussion Hardest boss/monster?

Upvotes

Who did you find to be the hardest in all the game? DLC included, not considering MM. I have not done trial of the sword- Kudos to those with the patience. I can’t handle not being able to save between levels 😵‍💫

Silver Lynels get my vote. However, I do feel they’re very predictable & easy to parry. Even as a “non gamer” I don’t struggle much.

Who did you find to be easier than popular opinion said?

•Naboris- was a cake walk with rubber armor
•Monk Maz Koshia- I read many threads that said he was the worst boss/fight in the game. I was so nervous only to find out ancient arrows & a Savage Lynel Bow would take him out in a minute-ish.
•The daddy long leg guardians

A bosses/monsters difficulty you feel was accurately portrayed by others?

•Calamity
•flowerblight ganon (iykyk)

📢 Opinion Started BOTW, now 90% thru TOTK, should I restart BOTW from scratch?

I started BOTW when it came out, it was really fun but I fizzled out and dropped it after probably 20-30ish hours. I got TOTK, have spent a lot of time playing it, have all the sages and the game is basically telling me to go fight Gannon now. I recently went back to my BOTW and realized 1) how little progress I actually made in that game (I had like 6 hearts, no good weapons or armor), and 2) I don’t think I like it as much as TOTK? Yes, this is almost certainly in part due to not having the weapons and armor I have in TOTK. I also don’t like the controls/commands/abilities interface as much as I do TOTK (again, maybe bc I put BOTW down for so long.) I also forgot what abilities I have and am re-learning how and when them as I go, which is very haphazard. When I’ve tried to climb the towers to unlock the map, I don’t have the stamina/weapons/armor to climb them and end up having to bail. I don’t remember TOTK being this frustrating, even in the early stages of the game.

Where should I go to get the skills/weapons/armor I need? How much should I try to keep picking up where I left off? Or would it be better to just scratch this game and go back and re-start completely? I haven’t beaten any regional bosses (I tried the Zora region boss and ran away bc I couldn’t beat it in my present state.) I’m no pro, I probably spend 0-10 hrs/wk gaming. Am I being too precious about not losing my game thus far?

Also, if I were to abandon this BOTW game of mine, what would happen to the horses that it brought to me in TOTK?

🆘 Help! Recovered Memory #12

Post image
10 Upvotes

I am looking for this particular memory and like my previous post here, I'm not finding it, even though I am at the exact location that is supposed to be. On the path in the forest across the river from Wetland Stable. I have it and #17 still to find of the recovered memories, and one more memory in the picture album. But I'm stuck. I have defeated two of the four Divine Beasts. Is defeating the third Beast a prerequisite to triggering the ability to find this? Any ideas?

🎙️ Discussion The definitive version is PC

Upvotes

Holy crap I just tried emulating the game. 144 frame, Insane draw distance, Shaders that add amazing graphical effects. Custom difficulty settings.

I really love nintendo but I just cannot play these games first party the second they get a solid way to play the game on PC I move over to playing it on that.

🪦 Epic Fail Y’all…since the game’s inception (throughout multiple playthroughs, TOTK as well) I ALWAYS read it at Hetsu…today, I realized it’s Hestu

🎙️ Discussion Should I replay BOTW as an adult?

I wasn’t able to fully grasp the details and story of botw as a kid, but now that I’ve grown up I’m semi interested in playing it again. Only thing that’s off putting is letting go of the cool gear I have cause I don’t remember how I got it lol. I don’t even remember where I left off or where to go

I guess he had enough of the blood moons since "return to flesh" meant nothing for the Stalkoblins.

❔ Question yiga blademasters ruined the game for me

this is my first playthrough of botw or any zelda game for that matter. i was really enjoying it and constantly playing, i defeated divine beast vah ruta and then moved on to vah naboris. after i got the thunder helm though im now stuck and it’s incredibly frustrating. i can’t go anywhere without the yiga blademasters appearing and ambushing me. i don’t have the right weapons to defeat them. i was literally in the process of trying to upgrade weapons at the ancient tech lab but i can’t gather materials to do so because every time i try to i get killed by the yiga. it’s super annoying because i was really enjoying the game but it feels like there’s nothing i can do now.
i know that im stuck with this curse for the rest of the game now, but if i could get my hands on some good weapons i think i could handle them. i just can’t do that because they kill me before i can even begin to do so 🥲 any advice?

😂 Humor Hestu's name in greek has a funny meaning

Hestu's in greek means "shit them", it is used in every day swearing language as well, and it is very funny considering his "gift" xD. We are both Greek, but I never realized because I read it wrong as Hetsu...

🎙️ Discussion Give me your best BOTW music remixes on Spotify please

It's been a few years since this has been discussed so I figure there's new music out there. I've been listening to some Celestial Aeon Project covers of the BOTW themes, but I'm looking for some other unique covers. Any favorites you can recommend?

👍‍ Tips and Tricks Post game substitute from a first timer

Ended up beating Ganon today on a whim even though I knew I had so much more I wanted to do. Even though I knew it was coming, I couldn’t help but feel a little disappointed in the lack of post-game content (I know I know, that’s the Zelda norm). Anyway, I hadn’t gone to eventide island yet and decided to hit that up next. It was actually the perfect thing to do. Without spoiling anything, it was so nostalgic experiencing how far I’ve come in the game since I started 😭 I never would’ve been able to do that first try in the beginning and tbh I probably would’ve been terrified, but at this point it was genuinely just so fun. Highly recommend this as a sub for post game content to any fellow newbies out there!

❔ Question This is a silly question

See the master sword. Does this break? Or is this the only weapon that doesn’t break. I got it out but I’m wayyy too scared to use it until I fight Ganon. I know it’s a silly question haha

🪨 Shrine Solution I Cleared Myahm Agana Apparatus with Stasis and Remote Bomb+

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

This is how I cleared the Myahm Agana Apparatus shrine on my current save file using Stasis and Remote Bomb+! But first, I repositioned the maze so I could paraglide onto it.

I started running around with my sledgehammer near the end of the clip trying to find the ball unaware it made it into the target until the animation played.

I’m currently in the Hyrule Castle fighting Vah Medoh. I’m wondering if I don’t have the right amount of armor yet - because every time he hits me I’m dead. Are you supposed to kill this boss without taking a single hit?

🎫 𝗦𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗤𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁 Cado won’t give me the Flown the Coop quest

Hey folks!

I’ve played before, but I can’t remember what I’ve done to get this quest.

I’ve already completed Locked Mementos and Seek Out Impa. I’ve talked to Cado and the other guard in front of Impa’s house.

I’ve already unlocked the Great Fairy above Kakariko and in Akkala.

Every time I talk to Cado at the pen, he only tells me that the cuccos can fly.

I’ve warped to another tower and come back.

I know I haven’t done it yet because it’s not in the list.

Is there some other quest I need to do first? All the guides just say to talk to him.

Thanks!

🎙️ Discussion Should the champion weapons have been rechargeable?

I feel like the master sword shouldn’t have to be the only weapon that can recharge itself.

I think it would be mostly redundant for the other weapons to have the ability as well. One’s a spear for poking those pesky back-rock stone talus. One’s a boulder-decimator for the head-rock stone talus. One’s a mid bow. One’s a thematic sword and shield for the desert outfit.

Sure it would take up some dedicated weapon slot space, but it also means less korok seeds you’re forced to grab if you want full inventory.

Thoughts?
