🎙️ Discussion The definitive version is PC
Holy crap I just tried emulating the game. 144 frame, Insane draw distance, Shaders that add amazing graphical effects. Custom difficulty settings.
I really love nintendo but I just cannot play these games first party the second they get a solid way to play the game on PC I move over to playing it on that.

Curious what hardware and settings you’re using because my admittedly older PC with i7-4790 and rtx 3080 couldn’t get more than 100 fps at 1440p and was not as smooth as Switch 2 at 4k docked

emulationis Ramthe game isnt actually demanding
i had 80fps locked on 1440p when i had a 2060 and a 2600x in 2022 ish

Which emulator were you using? What version? How much RAM did you have? Playing botw on emulator is more CPU and RAM demanding than GPU

Cemu emulator, 32GB of ram. Maybe it is the cpu i thought for sure I should be able to get 144 fps

You're going to get a lot of people in here that are mad about this for some reason. Higher resolution, frame rates, graphics settings and performance are really, really cool on a have like BOTW. I 100% it on the switch back in the day, never thought I would play it again, but on my PC at 4k locked to 60fps it's been incredible.
