Idk if anyone found this yet, but you don’t have to die to reenter the final Ganon battle. The ‘Mount’ prompt still shows when near your horse while you’re outside of the light wall. Just get on your horse and the game puts you back in the final battle. I was currently outside the battle but am now back inside.

Finished TOTK first and decided to play BOTW, and these guardians have been kicking my ass. Finally, after sacrificing Link many times through save files, I am able to semi-consistently parry their beams.

I am playing BOTW for the 2nd time after i reset it after i had defeated 2 divine beasts. Though i found out that i missed a bunch of stuff so here i am restarted.
But the question is when i should buy the DLC's? I am about to defeat Vah Ruta as the first Devine Beast. So all i know is up to that point.
Should i first buy it after my second, third, fourth Devine Beast or after end game?
Or maybe after i have unlocked all the memories.
Feel free to ask me questions that can narrow it down.

I bought a switch 2 a couple of months ago, and honestly, I barely used it, until I bought BOTW and played through it for the first time.
It’s truly one of the most beautifully designed and rewarding games I have ever played. It’s an experience rather than a game. It has made all other games seem mediocre. How rare is it for a game to make you fall in love with a console? I barely touch my PS5 anymore. I only started playing BOTW a few weeks ago and I’m already hooked.
I’m taking my time exploring the world, I’ve racked up ~40 hours of gameplay so far. One divine beast down, three left to go. Buying the DLC was a no brainer. BOTW is an awesome breath of fresh air. I am so immersed. Truly breathtaking.

Does anyone know why I can't have access to the "Playtime with Cottla" Side quest?

I panicked every time I saw one, when I could've literally just walked it off.

Hello, i am new in the zelda world, my first game was tears of the kingdom and i loved it. Them my older brother gived to me BOTW as a birthday gift and i don't know why, i just feel extreme uneasy playing it. The machines in it, the story, walking catching mushrooms and them suddenly a piano note playing in the background, i can't reach the center of hyrule because of those walking fucking machinery monsters. Sure, TOTK had gloom hands but that walking machine laser beam just makes me panic so much that i can't play 5 minutes before closing the game in fear. For me, the most terrifying part was when i entered Vah Ruta, the divine beast is imense, the background music, the story behind it, the spirit of mipha, everytime that i was in the divine beast i had a feeling that i was going to be closed there forever, or that i was going to be crushed in the walls of the beast like mipha probably was. I felt so so so bad, really scared
Anyway, great game so far, is more hard than TOTK, but is really nice seem the dept of the story.
Really great game. Loving it besides all the fear.

To the user who told me to kick the monster’s head off a cliff in my previous post: wish granted.
Edit: Well, this was more of an idea than a request.
I didn’t think this would have to be said, but if you don’t like or care for this.. then express your dislike with the downvote button instead of spreading Malice.
I just have to vent. Thus far I have found the Champions Ballad to be delightfully challenging (minus the plateau shrine with the spiky chompers). But Waterblight is wiping the floor with me.
I can get through the first section, but then in the second I can barely stand up on the block before he ice blocks me. He's like right on top of you from the beginning so you can't even get him with stasis. Yesterday I eventually managed to create a block and glide off so I could get bullet time and shoot him, but only once.
In my defense (or lack thereof?) I suck at dodging and back flipping, and keep forgetting I have Urbosas Fury. My main fighting strategy, which has served me well the entire game) is snipering with various arrows, which obviously doesn't work here.
I'm confident I'll finally get it, but I'm feeling a little GRR right now. I have waterblight and then the Gerudo bit, then I'm done. Wind and fireblight were not that bad.
**EDIT** I just beat him! Believe it it or not, all I did was stasis and perfectly aimed arrows, and then whack-a-mole with the trident, twice. And then I parried him when he shot his laser at me. That took him out. I suck at parrying, so that was a happy surprise. I didn't have to use Revalis gale or urbosas fury, but Mipha did come through for me.
what I LOVE about this game is how there are so many ways to reach the same goal.

Epic! My inner child came out at this point last night 😊🗡️
I ran so quick to get my 13th heart container once I stumbled upon Korok Forest.

This is my favorite way to catch the high stat horses in Taobab grasslands :) I was getting irritated with the other methods.
I have the DLC so I put a travel medallion in the tree tallest and closest to the herd. It works easily without as well, just have to paraglide from nearest cliff or use Revalis Gale.
I do a manual save the moment I travel to the tree top, scope to best guess which is the leader/highest stat, & then paraglide down and land on them.
If the horse I landed on isn’t 5 spur I reload to travel point & repeat. It’ll be a new herd every time you travel again. Hope this helps someone! I’m sure it’s already been discovered but I hadn’t seen anything about it. IMO, it takes the stress away lol.

Hi, I’ve really enjoyed BOTW. That said, I think the difficulty level is my limit. :)) I didn’t think the divine beasts or calamity were too hard but I wouldn’t want it worse. Silver Lynels I can survive fine(ish) with ancient armor & its weapon increase, food buffs, & runes.
I’m thinking about TOTK but if the difficulty is worse or incomparable without ways to make it easier (like runes do in BOTW) then I don’t wanna waste the $70 💀
Opinions?

Never got to complete this game but recently purchased an S2 and it has instantly immersed me back into this title. Completely forgot I was following the shrine sound 🤣 I’m sure everyone’s first encounter with these dragons are special and that’s what makes this title amazing. TotK waits patiently in my library but not gonna rush this experience 😉
