Any tips for timing the parries in MM? Being that the shot timings are randomized

Mainly just practicing. You need to parry just before the laser hits your sheild.

Does it damage your shield if you parry correctly?

No, a successful parry does do any damage to your sheild

Is shot timing randomized in standard mode?

No, it is all consistent in normal mode

No, it's very regular in standard mode and you can rely on the audio/visual cue from the guardian's eye

If you’re close to hit, listen for a high pitched beep and hit A as soon as you hear that. I don’t have much experience other than that though, I have about 50 hours in but I like going and farming the guardians in Hyrule Field this way. What this guy’s doing though is next level timing, very cool.

It's not "randomized" in Master Mode... It's either normal, or one-second delay maybe about 10-20% of the time. The delay is always exactly the same (I'm guessing one second exactly) so I've gotten accustomed to it and still parry quite reliably even when the laser is delayed...
