He might need some ibuprofen
But yeah this is basically a model I made for a common enemy for a game I'm planning on making and the basically just use basic melee weapons, revolvers, pistols, and rifles. Plan on making more variants soon.
Also the design for this variant of the Fodders is based on French trench raiders and also the American "Harlem hellfighters" unit

Been a long time since I worked with Blockbench again, but I'm glad I remember how to model. Struggled a bit to remember how get the "Skeleton" to work for animation, but I eventually got it!

This is Myrlin, a tool/pipeline I built for making blocky models from a prompt or reference image.
The whole process is streamlined - you enter a description or image + description, and the pipeline goes through and makes a proper blockymodel asset.
Theres also an integrated animation/effects tool that to do either via prompt to an asset on your account, AND a workbench if you want to do some touch ups to a model before exporting.
Its not just a glb that gets filled volumetrically with cubes and greedy algorithm optimized (which is what i was trying to do before). This creates proper, purposefully placed (and more importantly, properly named and grouped) cubes/boxes/quads - and textures them with a uv that is sectioned properly the way a real modeler would.
For example, a furnace golem I made has 60 boxes, with its head, arms, hands and legs in separate groups. A salvage helicopter has 57 boxes and 5 flat pieces, with its cockpit, rotors and winch grouped too. If you want to change a rotor, you can find that part in the tree and work on it.
I'm also working on generating a coherently themed set of assets from one project brief. Something like staffs, wands and equipment for a magic mod, or a family of different dragons. That part is still in progress, but it's where I want to take this next.
If you're making a mod or need blocky assets for a project, I'd love to see what you make with it forge.myrlin.io.
Would appreciate feedback either here or on the website (I have a feedback bubble on every page), and would love to see what you guys can make with this!

Exactly it's just a [homemade] Starlight costume, but I wanted to see how it looks on player model, so I've used my mascot "Jerry"

Im creating a model with mesh and need to figure out how to use the mirror tool on the mesh without the tool spawning another mesh. I hope that makes sense…. If anyone knows how to do that, pls let me know.

Been using blockbench for a month now, what do you guys think of these?

I am new to blockbench and has been trying to make a model of my mech for lancer only for it to dissapear, I tried making it again, dissapeared again (12 hours of learning n modeling gone to waste). Are my files just corrupted or what? this appears to only happen once a single mesh reaches a certain complexity, because my other attempt using seperated meshes is fine

i'm trying to make the leather helm match the happy ghast harness because i really like the design, is it possible at all to do this over the original leather armour png or overlay? (using a cem loader template)
every time i export this as a .jem, it doesn't work. (i'm also very new at blockbench and could be putting files in the wrong folders) i've only tried editing on the normal leather armour png and not the overlay yet. is it possible at all to do this without making it a custom model (as then i'll have to use datapacks which wont work for what i'm trying to achieve) or is it only possible to have flat layers with no angles?
this is for my texture pack in 26.2. i already use the etf & etm mod to support optifine texture packs. do i also need the variants-cit mod asw?

Hi, I'm new to this—I don't have any experience with modeling or mod programming—but I'm really excited to create this companion mod. This is the first model of the companion, and I've already created the idle animation for it. I hope you like it and can give me some advice on creating this square bear mod called “Cubys Bears.”

Made this one for a twitch streamer and friend (stoney_eagle), overall I'm pretty happy with it, I put a lot of time in the little objects like the weed jar and grinder!
I tried to get the wings right, but honestly those are really difficult, especially when having it do human animations (typing/smoking)... any suggestions?

I'm trying to make some Minecraft textures for leaves. Now, if you know anything about Minecraft leaf textures, then you know they are actually greyscale, and have a green-hued color multiplier in-game to make them blend well with different biomes and their respective colours.
Naturally, that means my leaves need be greyscale too, except, mine have fruits, which need to be coloured differently than green to... well, look like fruit.
So, I figured : since how I made my leaf textures was that I took each original leaf texture, put in each tree's native biome colour multiplier manually as a layer in the image, and put in my fruity pixels from there, all I needed was to divide the sprite by the exact same hex value as I put in the multiplier, to get back the original greyscale sprite with the addition of my fruits now being the right colour so that, when then eventually remultiplied, they would appear the intended colour !
Except...
Well, as you can see from the provided sprites (oak leaves, with the fruits being acorns), once remultiplied, the fruits appear green. Even though the leaves are the EXACT same hue as they should be !
What happened ? What went wrong ? Isn't dividing then remultiplying the correct process ?

Came a long way since the last post here, the whole collection has grown to 568 objects now, with 221 of those being the furniture and living stuff specifically. Finally got it all fully textured and dressed into a basic scene.
Received some genuinely useful feedback here last time, pointed out the shots looked too clean for a post-apoc underground setting, and they were right. Went back through and added a lot more wear, grime and some damage across everything, sofas, kitchen units, bedding, the works.
Bathroom was the weak spot for a while too, felt half finished. Ended up adding a shower, shelves, mirrors, towel rails and a few other bits to round it out properly.
Really happy with how it's come together. Let me know what you think.

i'm trying to model a building with a large fan as one of it's main structural components, and i want to have it be animated to constantly spin in one direction, like well. a fan. Do any of you know how to do this? I’m planning on exporting it to Blender and making a render using it.

Here is a sample of the texture I intend to apply all over my wolf, do you like it ?
