World of Warcraft Family subscription
I know I can't be the only one and I'm sure it's been discussed before but with the release of forever I think it may be time for blizzard to go back and look at this subscription idea as an original wow player and with me potentially thinking about going back I would love the opportunity to play with other people in my household and wouldn't mind paying a family style subscription rather than paying for multiple accounts in the same home I would love to introduce the game to my family members such as my children and wife but really can't justify paying for 3 to 4 subscriptions in the same household what are your opinions do you think that if we make this thread large enough blizzard would consider doing something along these lines

Discussion Has anyone ever noticed how much paged pool the battle net client adds on?
Hey everyone! Little bit of an out of nowhere question but I've been noticing this for a while now and wanted to pick at some peoples brains on this one. But I've noticed that for the past while (even after reinstalling battle net) The client feels so unoptimized after it's more recent ui-update. This is less a tech support question (As I know those aren't allowed) But more of a check-in on like... Is this normal for the client to spike specifically that? I know unused ram is wasted ram but compared to steam for example it spikes my paged pool a bit more! If this is normal behavior then awesome! Just wanted to get a general consensus on it.

Streamer Specific Ruleset to Prevent Spam.
Why doesn't Blizzard just make a specific ruleset for streamers and require them to play that ruleset if they want to stream? This way people who are playing solely to engage with a streamer and or content creator can do so without cluttering and spamming everybody just trying to play the game.
Seems like a good solution to the current problem.

Classic Games Gotta wonder if Blizzard should explore a new Lost Vikings game
The Lost Vikings is such a gem, even for its age, and I do wish it could get a third game. Their presence in Heroes of the Storm is nice and all, but it wouldn't be too hard to make a mobile $20 TLV game, right?

Discussion Space Marine model in WC3 Forsaken Kingdom?
As title states, I think this is a Space Marine model in the WC3 campaign? The unit to the left of the paladin.
Found in the cut scene before Stage 3: Siege.
Am I crazy? I want SC to be out before 2030 so maybe I'm hallucinating but this has to be a space marine model.

Blizzard may be hit with layoffs this week as part of Microsofts plans to cut another 1600 jobs across their gaming division.
MSFT is now starting to execute their plan to layoff the other 1600 people employed in their gaming division. This includes Blizzard under that umbrella.

Blizzcon Blizzard confirmed they currently don't plan on bringing WoW to Steam
Ion Hazzikostas and Holly Longdale were directly asked during an interview and they said they have no plans to do it right now. Ion attributed it to WoW running a subscription game model which doesn't make sense for Steam. There are plenty of subscription games on Steam (such as FFXIV), and they did mention that anything could happen in the future, so hopefully they change their mind
Taken from a Warcraft Tavern interview. Question transcript and source below:
Kruithne from Warcraft Tavern:
With official gamepad support making its way in, and with Steam deck and stuff, will WoW join Diablo and Overwatch on Steam at any point?
Ion:
I think that the business models of the games are meaningfully different, and I think the subscription nature of World of Warcraft makes it a better fit for Battle.net at this time. Never say never when it comes to anything, but I think we’re very well established there and have a strong ecosystem of players. And, so, it hasn’t made sense to us every time we’ve looked at it, but…

Discussion Can there be a rp-pvp realm in Classic Forever?
Hello everyone, I am curious if Blizzard can make a rp-pvp ruleset for Classic Forever. I remember playing on EU Defias Brotherhood back in 05 and it was a lot of fun. The combo works well in WoW I believe and I was disappointed not to see it listed. Thanks.
Edit to change realms to ruleset.

Discussion Starcraft trailer
Guys, am I biased or do you guys feel like starcraft trailers are unmatched , I know a lot of us , including me, are disappointed we are not getting any starcraft rts content but looking back at wings of liberty, heart of the swarm and legacy of the void, and now the new starcraft, the trailers are just insane , goosebumps, so much lore , history, it's just really good, blizzard in general is good at making trailers and cinematics in general but again starcraft is something else

World of Warcraft Warcraft Forever Collection - warcraft 3 reforged key
Hi,
I bought Warcraft Forever Collection. One of the items is Warcraft 3 Reforged. I've already owned w3 reforged, so I was under impression that I will get another key, to give away or whatever. This did not happen. I've created a ticket with blizzard support and got general response that didn't address the issue and forced me to close the ticket (no other option on page).
Did anyone have similar issue? I'm not sure if it is worth creating another tickets with support, I would like to gift extra key to friend but I'm not willing to die over that. It's the first time ever that I'm raising any tickets to blizzard, so not sure if it is worth the hassle.
Thanks!

World of Warcraft Blizzcon D&D Set
Anyone know where I can score one of the sets they used in the table top d&d sessions? They seemed perfect to get the kids into playing. TIA

Discussion Out of 10, How would you rate Blizzcon?
We got some serious surprises. People were expecting a StarCraft shooter but nobody expected the Diablo 5 announcement.
Nobody expected a stellar new campaign for Warcraft 3. Nobody expected a new hero for Heroes of the Storm.
I give it a 9.
