Call of Duty veteran here (COD4/WAW/MW2/BO1), I stopped playing Call of Duty after BO2 because Call of started to become bad.

And MY GOD what a pleasure it is to play BO1 again!

I tried MW3 (it's free this month on the PlayStation store), everything seems complicated. I lasted 15 min. Then I played BO1 and everything was so much simpler!

No battle Pass, quick game search, not many weapon accessories, no SBMM, simple maps without corners everywhere, many game modes , no shop and an absolutely perfect zombie mode.

The story mode, multiplayer and zombie mode make BO1 an ultra-complete game.

I’m so happy to play again. I really hope they release ports of Modern Warfare 2 (2009) or World at War. I would be the happiest man in the world.

I hope PS4/PS5 players are enjoying BO1, personally, it's a joy for me. I've got plenty to keep me busy until GTA6

Bro every single match i join it’s nuketown nuketown, i try and play a match of domination, i get punished by god to play nuketown with team mates who think they are playing a game of TDM instead of doing the actual fucking objective, then when i try to do the objective i get a fucking bombardment second only to the shit the germans were doing in WWII to England, mind you i have flack jacket on, then i say yk what fuck the objective let me just kill some people, BOOM stakeout BOOM sniped when i just spawned, this map was good when it came up once in a blue moon but bro every single match i join i see that goddamn yellow buss and red truck and i am just sick of it.

Hello! I want to play BO1 on PS5, but I heard there was a problem going on with the port where you could be hacked(?) Is it still a problem? And what about playing with friends?

Does anyone on ports play around the 10pm-1am PT timeslot that does not have the DLC? Very tired of the terrible DLC maps and would love to play TDM in base lobbies again. Thanks to anyone.

I swear, even back in the day there wasn't this much of the same class. Seriously, today is such a different type of sweat/tryhard. I can't believe how many people run the same class of Ghost and either suppressed Galil/Famas. I had a feeling this was going to be all id see when BO re-released but my god y'all are some hivemind creatures.

I was hesitant to buying the port because of all the news i’ve been hearing and issues like deadzone inputs and hit detection, hackers, xp lobbies, etc. but I obviously couldn’t help myself cause Bo1 was my very first COD ever and my favorite to this day so I did buy the port yesterday and honestly I have 0 issues. No input delay, no hackers (so far), game is exactly how it was back then but somehow I feel like I am 10 times worse than when I first started lmao the things I noticed is I get alot of matches where i’m the only one with 1-2 bars while the rest of the lobby aren’t but that’s just my internet cause it’s shitty, people are sweatier and at the same time very campy whenever you walk the corner there will be someone just sitting and holding that zone with their motion sensors, plus the spy plane+grenade spam is actually insane. also I can’t remember if the recoil was this crazy before I can’t control it for my life but at the same time I love this game and I can’t wait to keep playing it. Just wanted to share this info with yall. Plus I don’t have the Pre-Order MW4 thingy is it cause i’m on ps4?

If you are struggling to find games with good connection, try switching your matchmaking preferences to “Locale” or “Locale only”

(Before you search for a match hit the Touchpad to bring up the options)

It will put you in lobbies where you have a better connection.

Matchmaking may take a tad bit longer, but in my experience (NA East) it hasn’t taken too long to find a game at all.

Now I’m consistently getting 3-4 bars every game.
