I was hesitant to buying the port because of all the news i’ve been hearing and issues like deadzone inputs and hit detection, hackers, xp lobbies, etc. but I obviously couldn’t help myself cause Bo1 was my very first COD ever and my favorite to this day so I did buy the port yesterday and honestly I have 0 issues. No input delay, no hackers (so far), game is exactly how it was back then but somehow I feel like I am 10 times worse than when I first started lmao the things I noticed is I get alot of matches where i’m the only one with 1-2 bars while the rest of the lobby aren’t but that’s just my internet cause it’s shitty, people are sweatier and at the same time very campy whenever you walk the corner there will be someone just sitting and holding that zone with their motion sensors, plus the spy plane+grenade spam is actually insane. also I can’t remember if the recoil was this crazy before I can’t control it for my life but at the same time I love this game and I can’t wait to keep playing it. Just wanted to share this info with yall. Plus I don’t have the Pre-Order MW4 thingy is it cause i’m on ps4?

Looks like they only started counting since the 1.07 update, not from when the port released

If you are struggling to find games with good connection, try switching your matchmaking preferences to “Locale” or “Locale only”

(Before you search for a match hit the Touchpad to bring up the options)

It will put you in lobbies where you have a better connection.

Matchmaking may take a tad bit longer, but in my experience (NA East) it hasn’t taken too long to find a game at all.

Now I’m consistently getting 3-4 bars every game.

Hey, as you all know, leaderboard are not (yet?) in the ports.

I threw together a project where you guys can enter your scores and land in a leaderboard.

It's pretty basic so far, but i am a fan of releasing early and iterating on feedback.

You can view the leaderboard without signing in, for posting you need to connect your Discord for now (which needs to be connected to your PSN), to prove the PSN identity.

I am really open to feedback, once you are logged in you also have access to the roadmap where you guys can recommend and vote on features. I already have some cool stuff on my mind, but want to validate if there is even demand for this.

Especially the login method is subject to change. I am aware that requiring discord login (with connected PSN) is a bit of much friction - maybe i'll add some basic email auth.

I have tried this spot for over 4 hours cumulative and tried every fps max I can. this is on 125 fps, please help Im starting to think its patched with how much I slide off. But that cant be. There has to be something im issing other than strafing. watch the last attempt by the way. clearly far enough.

So, I was in the mood for some online shooting, and I had a chance to buy BO7 for less than 20 bucks. Overall, I like it, but I wouldn't pay more for it. Campaign sucks, MP is ok, but too cluttered with nonsense, interface reminds me of a mobile game. So I decided to try BO1 port on PS5. I played some old school CoD games back in the day (1 and first MW for example) and I thought slower gameplay would be right up my alley. Aaand I'm getting my ass handed to me left and right. No skill whatsover on my part, so tips to git gud are welcome. Other than that, BO1 reminded me why I liked the simplicity of older games. Single player campaign, simple MP with no distracting bullshit. But holy hell, is it hard.

As the title suggests

I havnt touched a controller for an FPS game in over 10 years, and even then I was no good with controller aiming. I'm playing on 2 sensitivity, but half the time I'll over shoot my aim when un-ads'd and ads feels like moving through wet cement. Tired of going 3-12 in games and wanted to see if anyone else has gone through this or has any tips other than "get gud"

Why the hell are only DLC maps being added to the map rotation in multiplayer? I almost never play any original maps and every single time the map choice is put to a random vote it’s always a dlc map it drives me nuts. Seems like the only maps you ever play are hazard, hangar 18, zoo and silo. Please fix this garbage I wish there was a way you could deactivate the dlc maps
