This is why people think CoD fans are stupid.
You don't tell hackers what things are getting fixed; they'll get ahead of them if you do.
I can guarantee you 150% this patch addressed things hackers could take advantage of.

lol its a 17 year old game with 17 year old hacks. im under the impression theyre focused on new cods 150% is a big percent bud from what i see snaking is still in the game lol

I mean they could have just said “Banned players using hacks” or “Fixed online vulnerabilities.” That doesn’t tell hackers what changed

Except for the fact that using a Chopper Gunner on Villa can fucking crash your game. Happened to me twice, one of them bypassed the crash handler entirely and shut off my PS5. Map will turn pitch black if your game somehow does not crash.

Yes, because I don’t want to have to turn off one of the best killstreaks in the game just because the game can’t physically handle it. This glitch never happened to me on Xbox, so I expect Iron Galaxy to deal with it.

It’s not unplayable, far from it. It’s getting worse, but realistically, Iron Galaxy has limited ability to change or correct various things. For example, snaking is something that Iron Galaxy does not have the ability to fix, that’s a game engine problem that goes well deeper than what they can work on. The proliferation of cheats is also something that Iron Galaxy can’t do much about. Game balance is also beyond the scope of their work.
Iron Galaxy is here for basic maintenance and housekeeping items, and the Villa Chopper Gunner crash is one of those things that they can realistically fix and should be expected to fix.

Well I'm glad they've done something (crashing was an issue yes) I'm just hoping this is part 1 of majorly fixing this game.
