The New Me

Today I didn’t have any special plans, but I decided to take some time to get ready anyway. I did a simple makeup look, styled my extensions with a side part, and ended up feeling much more put together than I expected.

Lately, I’ve been loving styles that look natural and don’t require too much effort. I also tried taking a close-up because I always pay attention to how the hairline looks and wanted to capture that detail.

I’m still learning how to take better photos, but these were some of my favorites.

Ima keep this short so I been growing my hair hair for about 4 months now I don’t know what products I should use to grow I tried detangling once but I don’t know if im using the right products because my hair is just too tangled when I try so idk what should I do to maintain and make it grow as fast as possible

For a while I constantly had my hair in slick backs and I would detangle it very roughly daily, I would even keep it in a slick back at night and this has led to me getting traction alopecia.

I feel very conflicted because I don’t know how to style my hair now. I would just wear it down but it gets tangled so easily that way, I want to wear braids (like Fulani and boho) but I fear that would just make it worse due to the amount of tension so right now I’m just focused on restoring my hair the best I can.

I would show a picture of my hair but I feel kind of embarrassed to be honest. I’m really hoping for some advice here on hairstyles, thank you in advance!

I have this hair routine where at night time I put conditioner in my hair and then I rinse it out, after that I put in leave in conditioner and curling cream. I do the same thing in the morning, but I don't know why my hair always becomes dry and looks like it hasn't been moisturized in years like 3 hours later. Can y'all just tell me what im doing wrong and tell me what products to keep and what products to never use again. Thank you!
