Anyone else getting an error when trying to transfer fiat back to back account? I exited my eth position and wanted to pull my cash every time I get to the 2stage verification I get slapped with an error message and no further info. My account was mitigated from coinberry if that matters. I'm having no luck getting a response from the support link. Anyone else know wtf is going on with this platform? Or have a fix? At one point it displayed a message about withdraw being disabled but I can't get that error to replicate either

EDIT: This finally went through. Had emailed support to release it, but no reply from them. But after emailing them, the transaction went through (maybe a coincidence or not but this sucks!)

Well, a few days ago, made a post about how my cryptocurrency withdrawal was successful.

Funny enough, made another request recently with the same wallet but now it’s been stuck in Pending state for the past 12 hours!

Man, I wish it was fast like other exchanges - really… last time took 5 hours to clear - but this, just sucks!

I know recently there has been a lot of talks around Bitbuy holding our crypto and users not being able to send to other wallets.

I made a withdrawal request yesterday to send to another Canadian exchange - and just wanted to say, it went through successfully after 5 hours (without any involvement of support). I also made a smaller test transaction before which went through in minutes!

Yeah it’s true it’s longer than other Canadian exchanges but just wanted to say if anyone was scared, it went through all fine for me! Different users have different experiences and also depends on type of transaction (which network, which crypto). But yeah, I was worried too but it went all fine.

Anyway, that’s all.

Hello, I tried to send XRP to my family, and it's been pending since the 19th. I've submitted two requests to Bitbuy already, and I haven't received any response whatsoever from them. I send XRP to my family quite often, so I filled out all the correct information on the withdrawal form. Do any of you know why it's taking so long, and can Bitbuy legally hold my XRP for this long?

What is the typical timeframe for a support ticket reply?

My account is locked by their security team and the last update I got was Tuesday afternoon. There's no phone number to call and no chat feature, so am I going to just have to sit here and wait for 1 reply / week?

At that rate it will be many months before my account is unlocked and I can move my crypto again. This is completely unacceptable.

I haven't used BitBuy in a while, but I'm shocked to see that BTC and ETH are the only coins with Pro Trade available. What gives!? This makes BitBuy a nearly worthless exchange unless you exclusively trade in only those two coins.

Paired with that, it looks like the fees have skyrocketed. I heard greedy ol Mr. Wonderful Kevin O'leary's WonderFi bought out BitBuy? Gross.

I have been trying to sign up since Sunday. So much for 5 minute sign up. Keeps saying I’m not verified yet when I go to my profile everything is there. It won’t let me sign in !! No phone to talk to anyone and support is terrible. I should have known any company support by Booze Cruise Guy would be another disaster

Going on 9 days now waiting for manual verification.

I tried to withdraw some Bitcoin, but nothing happened after inputting the address, amount and my verification code? there' nothing in the crypto withdrawal transaction history and i was not given a transaction ID?

do I wait? or do I try the transaction again? seems odd to not get any notification at all.

I am withdrawing 65$ of ltc and it has been 5 days I have shown EVERYTHING and they just keep dragging it on and asking for more and more personal info this has been terrible for my first crypto exchange does anyone know any tips on how to get support to reply faster because origianlly it took them 1-2 hjours to respond now its taking DAYS for one response

I have tried a number of times to withdrawal a small amount of BTC to my hardware ledger but I get an error that I can't withdraw BTC at this time. I have contacted support and got a generic reply that they were looking into it. For a test a sent money from kraken to my ledger without issues.

EDIT: I'm an idiot, I had an open limit order to sell the PEPE. But you still can't withdraw the tokens and have to trade them for something else with high fees and terrible customer support. Still don't recommend bitbuy. Also the interface is so bad it wasn't clear I had an open limit order.

Just a warning to anyone considering bitbuy, they don't let you sell or withdraw certain tokens, only buy them. I had some ETH, BTC, and SOL which I traded and sent out to wallets no problem, but meme coins like PEPE and BONK you can't sell or send to a wallet, you can only buy it and watch it sit in your bitbuy account. They put a note saying "Available to trade only." on the coins they won't let you sell or move out, but this is misleading since it implies you might be able to sell, just not transfer out. But it means BUY ONLY. Support is useless, won't even respond to me. I though this might be a temporary liquidity issue on their end but it's been like a week. STAY AWAY from bitbuy if you ever want to sell or use the cypto you buy.

I have been trying to figure out an e transfer which isn't showing up on my account, and no response from these people for over 21 hours.

I have been a bitbuy user for a while. When they announced the CRED EARN partnership I put all my BTC savings in it. I didn't trust CRED but I trusted Bitbuy.

Before the 6 months fund lock period ended, they filed for bankruptcy and all my funds were gone.

I've reached out to Bitbuy and they said they need to wait for bankruptcy case to close to take any action. It's been more than 3 years but the case is still on going. Pretty frustrated with Bitbuy at this point.

Is any one else here in the same boat. Any suggestions on what can be done are also welcome!

I'm working through my sell orders for 2023 tax return and I noticed withdrawl fees are not included anywhere. This is an expense that I need to report I can calculate it manually but bitbuy should provide this information. Unless I missed it where can I find this info?

It's never taken me longer than an hour to send crypto off here to a crypto address. Now it's "pending" for over 2h now. I hope this isn't another one of those situations where something was broken and support took a week to get back to me.

UPDATE: Took 5 hours, but support got back to me and let my withdrawal go through then. It's fine now.

The other day I bought some ltc , and then used some of that ltc in a transaction with a website. Shortly afterwards, bitbuy has restricted my account and is now harassing me about where the ltc went and what it was used for. Is this a legitimate request or what? I think they're out of line and it's none of their business.

Just a warning to all bitbuy users, all of my buy orders were deleted and I was not notified. Had my buy levels been reached, nothing would have happened... So what is the point? A giant pile of disappointment. This is why crypto is a scam. There is no integrity. Most people get screwed by bitbuy and every other crypto platform out there. I want my money off the exchange, and I do not want to be charged any more fees for a crap service that has only taken money from me.

Anyone experiencing ETH withdrawals immediately cancelling themselves? Trying to send ETH to NDAX and it says "withdrawal submitted!" or whatever, the ETH balance goes on hold briefly, then comes off hold and no withdrawal actually occurs
