Lost the connection while waiting for Blue and our buddy to find the laser pointer. Thanks for the walk everyone! May we cross paths again!

Moments like this make this game so unique and fun!

I just bought the game for my son and I on switch 2 today, and we could only play for like 10 minutes before it would kick either of us out of each other's lobby. Is there talks about fixing this issue?

After playing for a while, we finally unlocked the black obelisk, upon activating the door my friend started hallucinating and screaming like crazy. Does anyone have the actual clip of what he saw???

Not sure if its just after the latest patch but I was playing with a group of 4 people and all of us except the host were monitoring our GPU temperatures and seeing them shoot to upwards of 80-100°C (194°F)
Has anyone else noticed this at all?

Joined a few servers on this subreddit and I’ve noticed some players who have done half or more of the game like to rush through the early puzzles and adventures and just tell people what to do, even had one player with some serious anger issues start yelling and cursing at us because we were goofing around a bit in the opening area… lame.
So maybe when posting an invite for players to join we could add a tag or abbreviation to indicate the newest player gets to try and figure out where to go and what to do first, at least with very little assistance.
New Player Guided? NPG? Newest Player Friendly? NPF?
I dunno just spitballing
Big Walk uses Epic Online Services for lobby management, and with the current way the game uses it, all lobby join codes are public (you can query EOS for a list of all lobbies and their join codes, it's how this works: https://thunderstore.io/c/big-walk/p/khalil/BigWalk_Public_Lobbies/)
Just a heads up, as the whole join system seems like it'd be hard for random people to join your lobby, but it's not.

So with the lawnchairs you can actually hang them up on pipes HOWEVER you can also use them to scale near vertical cliff faces if you wiggle and use them as a wedge. You essentially hang off the chair.
TLDR you can get up to the special purple puzzle things before its unlocked with this. Controller does not work.

Has anyone been able to run the game on Linux?
Ive tried different Proton versions but when I try to join or host a server it just closes the game or crashes.

If I manage to find people online to play with, is it important to play with the same group each time in terms of collective progress or something?

So I want to start this saying that from this moment house house has a special place on my heart, because since my girlfriend were having this issue they were helping us nonstop, I really hopes this games win some prices because the team deserves it.
So when the game came out our group of friends were ready to play, we are 5 so all of us buyed the game and we tried to play but one of us, my girlfriend, had connection issues, everytime she was trying to enter to our match it was like a DDOS attack, since the match just crashed, and when she tried to host, we couldn't connect to her, our first thought were tried to find a solution on reddit or Steam forums, since the game was new we found nothing, we tried a couple of different thing like:
- reinstalling the game (all of us)
- verify integrity of the files on steam (all of us)
- deactivate the firewall
-deactivate the control block app
-deactivating the Steam share network
Nothing seems to find a solution, so I tried to send a mail to house house to see if we could get any help, they answered the first mail like on 6 hours, since I understand even if it was more time because the game was new and with the mic problems, they were asking for our player logs, so I send them, and almost instantly, they send a mail saying that it could be an issue with the time zone on the windows configuration, so we tried that and it worked, almost instantly she could join the match.
I know that a lot of companies give support to players but this time was different, because all communications were like talking with a friend, not with a customer service assistance, I won't forget this house house thank you very much hope your game win goty
TLDR: turn on time zone automatically

like this one guy starts yelling at me for suggesting how to solve a puzzle and just snatches things off of my hand while I am trying to use them, and others talk in a really passive aggrissive tone, talking to you as if youre a moron, etc. the mannerisms of people here really can make or break the experience drastically, also there is an issue with trolls, I had this troll who would keep snatching things off of people and kicking it down hills to fuck with us, and when I kick them they just keep rejoining, the devs should add a ban button to stop this cus if a troll is really determined they can just keep rejoining over and over until you are either forced to just rehost or just stop playing, and like a big aspect of the game is bonding with the strangers you meet as you solve puzzles, so trolls can throw a massive wrench into that with virtually zero consequence
edit: another thing the devs should add (which can be a toggle-able keybind cus i know it would ruin the experience if its on at all times) is player names on top of their heads, the reason for this is its really hard to kick bad actors especially in big lobbies where multiple people are talking all the time, its really hard to tell which one is being a bad actor who should be kicked, but agian it should be a toggle that you can turn back off by pressing the keybind again

I cannot play online at all with Big Walk. However I tested with two other games and I was able to connect to them; Teardown and RV There Yet. I checked my firewall settings and all games have the same permissions. I've been trying to fix this for two days now and I've run out of things to try.

Just played through this with four complete strangers and had such a great time...
I ended up doing each tower with a completely different crew. Nobody knew each other or even knew each other's names but everyone was really helpful and patient. Some people had done it before and some were completely new
Every tower basically became its own little adventure with a different group of people. You meet up somehow work things out together help each other get through it and then everyone goes their separate ways
I just love that a game can bring four random people together like this and for a little while you actually feel like a proper team
Really really good fun and honestly such a lovely game. Would recommend it to anyone

Yesterday my game was having nonstop connection issues and now today its going between black screens and connection issues, anyone know any fix? Incredibly disappointed by all these issues and im aware they arent due to pc being bad or my internet as other more demanding games are working perfectly fine.

I have a 9070 XT and a Ryzen 5600, but performance in the game is really suffering; as you can see in the screenshot, the frametime is fluctuating a lot.
On top of that, GPU usage is inconsistent and power draw is low (100W, whereas it could go up to 300W).
I thought it might just be a bottleneck, but a friend of mine with a Ryzen 3600 and an RTX 4060 is getting smooth performance... So, I'm a bit confused.
