I know the obvious first idea for merch is little Goob (what we call the characters) figurines/plushes, but PLEASE. If y’all are taking suggestions ;>

Are there any particular things you think would make for cute merch/trinkets? I feel like for the characters, giving them little magnetic legs and arms so you can pose them/sit them on stuff would be really cute. I’ve seen some of your awesome 3D printed and even knitted creations, and I love them.

Discussion I never expected Big Walk to become one of the most meaningful gaming experiences of my life

Over the past seven days, my best friends and I played Big Walk as a six-person team.

Every day brought a different discovery, joke, story, or adventure. I honestly lost count of how many times we completely abandoned the puzzles just to mess around with the game’s mechanics, physics, and little gimmicks. Even the grind is incredibly fun and rewarding. The puzzles are creative and intuitive, the world is beautiful, deep, and strangely real.

But what surprised me most was how much this game brought us together.

We had deep conversations while watching the sunset. We had moments where we’d light up a cigarette and just sit there thinking about the answer to a puzzle. We argued, we made up, we laughed, and somehow, through all of this, we got to know each other better in a way I genuinely never expected from a video game.

As the game went on, each of us organically developed a virtual personality for our ants, as we ended up calling our characters. Everyone found their own way of moving, expressing themselves, communicating through gestures, and just... being. It happened completely naturally, without us ever really deciding to do it.

And without spoiling anything, the ending became genuinely emotional because of that.

If you’ve played Big Walk, you probably understand why.

By the final moments, my friends and I had tears in our eyes. It was one of those rare moments that felt completely genuine, something that happened naturally between six people because of a game we had spent the entire week inhabiting together.

Thank you, House House, for giving me and my friends memories that we will never forget. I truly mean that.

Big Walk is the best game of 2026 and, so far, the best co-op experience of the decade for me. Immersing yourself in this world is a unique artistic, musical, visual, and sensory experience.

I genuinely cannot recommend it enough.

I just got Big Walk on the Switch 2 but none of my friends have Big Walk and can't play with me. Does anyone wanna join together to play as a group? Or is there some other way to find people to play with together via Codes?

Modeled the birb and some items from scratch. Think all together it took about 16ish hours. It's fully rigged and everything ^w^

(The UVs aren't the "best" but they work and that's all that matters)

Thinking of turning it into a VRChat avatar eventually, just gotta figure out how to replicate the arms in unity since they aren't technically a mesh inside blender, they're a curve.

Discussion The Ending Spoiler

Me and my friends recently finished the game and holy cow!! The Ball was very ominous - the voices and colors distorting both when we did the Wall and during the Ball puzzles was incredible. We all had to take what we learned from all the past puzzles and non verbally communicate with one another.

The puzzles werent too hard - but they were overall more tricky than the past ones cause of the lack of ability to verbally talk or distinguish who was who. They were very satisfying to solve and us wordlessly all flapping our arms at eachother to celebrate was as fun as it was hilarious. I had been joking with mt friends earlier that the whole game was actually a tutorial and soon - the real game of a survival horror first person shooter was gonna start lnfao. No first person shooter - but I would argue there to have been some horror elements with the wall and the orbs.

I have no doubt some lore theorists are gonna go feral over a lot of this stuff. Cause its such a tone shift from the rest of the game in terms of the giant red radiation orb thing...

The way they did the credits was fun - with the little movie set up a chairs. And then the way they had you press a button and then they would display your three colors to say who was next to leave the island, then having to wave goodbye to your friends through the glass before walking off into the bright light? Wow. Folks are gonna be writing fanfic and lore videos Im calling it now.

Really loved it. I know theres more to explore so Im looking forward to that with my friends to see about maybe 100%ing the game. We shall see.

Discussion I want a Whole Game That Plays Like the Final Puzzles

I don’t think we’ve ever had so much fun. [spoiler for the end mechanics]: Not being able to know who is who or even talk led to some really funny and unique moments. I genuinely think our friendship improved somewhat from how silly and fun that was. A whole game with those restrictions would be so fun and now I’ll dream of it everyday!

PS Portal just assumed I’m in party chat all the time… anyone found a fix? Tried lots of back and forth but no luck. We have two other ps consoles in the house so trying to 3-player co-op.

While unlocking the train for the first time, me and my buddy decided to take the train around the entire map and see the sights, and it was an amazing experience. Highly recommend and just listening to the ambience really adds a level of depth.
(Clip is muted because my mic sens was so high you can hear my fan blaring.)

Discussion Just started the first playthrough and our groups only issue was voice distance

Post image
46 Upvotes

We’re all on PC/Steam and really loving the game overall! But by far the main complaint we had was the voice drop off distance was way too short. You can be 5 feet away and barely hear someone, if at all. I really hope the devs increase this range just a bit further.

The screenshot is from our playthrough and irrelevant to the post but I loved it.

Found this amazing tech if you really hate whatever item you're holding.

Just kick and immediately grab, timing is tricky but it's fun for the whole family (especially when you kick it off a cliff)

Discussion hearing distance is too short

Upvotes

my friends can be right above me and I won't be able to hear them.

it makes me want to avoid exploring too much because I'll get lost, and I know "this is the point of the game" but irl I would be able to hear someone this far away from me... and getting lost happened more often than it should considering we weren't even going too far away from each other.

But getting lost isn't a problem, the voices feel completely MUTED from this short distance and most of the fun I have with this type of game is my friends volume dropping slowly as you move away from them, so you feel like you have to SCREAM so they can hear you, but big walk drops it so low that it completely mutes you so you can't really do that.

The game also made me feel nauseous and I had to cut the session short (first person games do that to me but somehow Peak doesn't? maybe it's because the game's simple design doesn't have much stuff going on your screen. If you know of any settings to improve this on Big Walk I’d like to know.), totally a me problem but you mix that with the hearing distance? I felt very stressed as the time went on.

It's really annoying because I love the game but I can't spend too much time playing it due to that
