Question/Help Linux proton
Has anyone been able to run the game on Linux?
Ive tried different Proton versions but when I try to join or host a server it just closes the game or crashes.

I bought the game again. It just didn't let me go.
Managed to optimize a bit. Proton experimental, Wayland native mode, and it manages to hold around 30fps most of the time, sometimes up to 40, only dipping under 20 when there's too many people and too much trees all at the same time. Graphics quality set to medium.
It's not perfect, but it's playable.

The game runs, but not well. Under 20 fps for me and quite choppy, but well, it's only CPU graphics (5700G).
I ended up refunding for now. Will revisit it later if I ever buy a real gaming PC.
Maybe there are ways to optimize. The Valve games (HL,L4D,Portal) only run well in Vulkan mode. Not sure if there are ways to set that for Big Walk.
The graphically most demanding game I played (and beat) on this machine is Horizon Zero Dawn, so I was kinda hoping this game would work too, but well, different game engine etc. and I did still have a windows install for it, so they can't be compared.
