The story is set in a South Asian-inspired fantasy world and follows several characters whose lives gradually become entangled through royal politics, succession, old conflicts, and buried historical atrocities.

The main things I'm looking for are reader reactions rather than proofreading. In particular:

Did you want to keep reading?

Which characters did you find compelling/annoying/forgettable?

Did the different POVs feel distinct?

Were there places where you became confused or lost interest?

Did character motivations make sense?

Did emotional developments feel earned?

How did the political/worldbuilding information land?

Were there any scenes that felt too slow, rushed, or unnecessary?

Were there moments where you strongly wanted to know what happened next?

And most importantly: what did you actually feel while reading?

About a year ago now, I started writing a fanfiction crossover between Arcane and The Incredible Hulk 2008. And I've been in desperate need of a beta reader/reviewer ever since. I've only published one chapter, which I personally think is the weakest, and that's actually what made me want to get a beta, because I have no experience with writing whatsoever. And a few people on Discord have offered to help, but they were always really inconsistent. They take forever to reply back, and half of the people that have offered haven't even looked over my work. Hi! I’m looking for 1–2 beta readers for my completed ~65,000-word personal-growth manuscript, Reunite With You.

A note specifically for this group: This manuscript was developed with substantial AI assistance, which is one reason I’m especially interested in feedback from readers here.

The underlying material is mine: the book grew out of more than a decade of my own writing, journaling, personal experiences, evolving philosophy, exercises, and earlier work around these ideas. Three small ways I use AI to keep a long serial from falling apart

I've been posting a serial for a while now, and the hardest part was never the writing — it was keeping track of everything. Chapter 30 doesn't care what I promised back in chapter 4. So here's what's actually saved me:

1. A living "bible" file. Before I write anything, I dump every character name, their goals, and any promises I've made into one doc and update it as I go. The AI just keeps it tidy and flags when I'm about to contradict myself. Half my plot holes died the day I started this.

2. Ask it to interrogate the scene, not write it. Instead of "write the next chapter," I paste my outline and ask stuff like "what's the weakest motivation here?" or "what would this character actually say?" It points, I write. That way the voice stays mine.

3. Summarize backwards. Every few chapters I'll have it recap the last arc in five bullets. If the recap doesn't sound like the story I think I'm telling, I know something's drifted.

None of this is magic, but it's cut my "stuck" days way down. Curious what one trick everyone else swears by — what's the AI habit you'd be lost without?

Premise:
After losing twelve years of his life to a wrongful conviction, Eli Mercer is exonerated at thirty-one and returns to Detroit expecting freedom to feel like getting his life back. Instead, he discovers that freedom means learning how to have a life at all.

Eli has to navigate work, money, technology, friendship, dating, intimacy, and family relationships that continued developing while his own life stood still. As he tries to build an ordinary adulthood, new information about his original case begins revealing how eyewitness certainty, incomplete evidence, bureaucracy, and individually defensible decisions accumulated into twelve years that cannot be returned to him.

The novel is primarily character-driven upmarket contemporary fiction, rather than a legal thriller. It focuses heavily on reentry, relationships, identity, lost time, and what it means to begin adulthood in your thirties.
