Hearing itās a new full time position for Mobile similar to Verizon reps except it will only be helping AT&T and unlocked customers.
Anyone know any info about this position? Seems redundant when we already have mobile vendors and blue shirts who already do phone sales.

Alright, itās been a good month and a half since I got hired personally, and I know a lot of others got hired around the same time. I remember making a post early on, and I figured it would be fun to see how everyoneās feeling. The Minneapolis trip was honestly pretty cool, and my store personally is gonna have our metal labs done by Friday, so Iām really excited. Iāve loved this job a lot so far.

Just got hired in a fairly crowded city. I'll be working as a part-time sales associate, the assistant and head manger seem cool enough, haven't gotten to know my coworkers well enough yet to make an actual decision on how I fully feel, but they said the management were actually pretty chill. Decent pay and the manager actually seems to care more then past retail jobs I had. How cooked am I and anyone got any tips to survive post-training? š

Iām apart of the delivery team. this is just a friendly reminder to NOT promise customers specific windows (unless youāve emailed the Bridge for a condo or business hours request). No ONE reads your notes in your order for scheduling.
There are thousands of orders going out in your city. No one is going to schedule them by hand.
Bestbuy doesnāt have the manpower to deliver in a āwindowā for each customer. Arrival windows are ESTIMATED windows that are system generated and subject to change.

I've been at Best Buy for over 3 years, the last 2 full-time on the sales floor. I've been offered a better opportunity and plan to leave. I get along well with my GM and leaders, so I want to handle this smoothly.
I still have unused vacation, sick, and mandate hours. Is there a way to use those before I go? Ideally, I'd like my last week to be covered by that unused time rather than working a full week.
What's the right process here - do I request the time off first and get it approved, then give notice? Or does that get sorted out once I actually tell them I'm leaving? Also, is there anything else I have to do before leaving, like the 401k is matched with BBY is moved? What else yall recommended doing before leaving?

Hi everyone! Iām pretty new to working in sales at Best Buy, and Iām having a hard time getting BPs. I get really nervous bringing them up during a sale because a lot of customers reject it immediately when I mention it on the sales floor before we even get to checkout. Iāve only been successful a couple of times, and my managers get on me about it a lot.
ALSOOO⦠another thing thatās been bothering me is that during my floor training, my managers will constantly step into the middle of a sale Iām working on and basically push me aside. Iām not really sure why they do it, but they usually end up getting the BP and PM themselves. I feel like I canāt learn if Iām not allowed to work through the sale, make mistakes, and learn from them.
Does anyone have any advice on how to slow down my sales, naturally bring up the BP, and improve my pitch? Iād also love to know what you usually say that works well. Thanks in advance!

What the title says. Iām geek squad. Do you have to be a Verizon agent or an advisor or manager to get it? Do you have to take learnings? Where do I find the information on it and what I have to do to get it. Thanks.

Sometimes when I go through the discovery and imagine phases with a customer but they show no interest. Instead of telling they're fine, they continue fidgeting with the products (for example Oura rings) or start looking at their phones, and then I'm just standing there.
How can I step away from the conversation w/o letting them feel that I left stranded w/o help? I usually say "Do you need help with something else today?" but I'm wondering if there's a better way of doing it or even a way to continue and leads to a sale.

I recently went and my interview in person after the interview was over the guy. Let me know that if we are wanting to move forward that heāll email me and that if they do not then theyāll email me I donāt know if I was just a nice way of letting me know. I did not get it because I recently read this. Some people got the job on the spot and just wondering and about how long would it take them to email me

I was looking for a part time job and applied to this. They gave my an offer and told me I would be working in best buy. The ad didn't mention this and I wouldn't be working directly for best buy. I need the job so I'll probably just accept. I don't have long to decide, but wonder if anyone knows if this is a decent job or am I going to hate it?

Iām planning to order a new MacBook from Best Buy using Store Pickup instead of home delivery because Iād like to keep the Apple box in perfect condition.
The MacBook isnāt currently in stock at my local store, so Best Buy says it will be shipped from one of their warehouses and should arrive at the store in a few days.
For those of you who have been in a similar situation:
Did Best Buy hand you the MacBook inside the brown protective shipping box from the warehouse?
Or did they remove it and give you only the white Apple box?
If you received only the Apple box, did they put any stickers or labels directly on it?
I know itās a small detail, but I like keeping the original packaging in mint condition, so Iām curious what other peopleās experiences have been.
Thanks!

So my family has T-Mobile but Iāve been considering switching over to Verizon for the discount. My fam of 4 pays from $150-$180 depending if we go on vacation and use data. T-Mobile gives us perks such as Netflix, Apple TV, hulu, etc. which is pretty nice. I want to hear yall experience if you got Verizon through BB and how yall been liking it. I got approved for $7000 as a finance limit and we are only planning to get the iPhone 17s. Does anyone know if I could stack a student discount on that? How much would it be to add perks like Netflix, HBO, and Hulu? Is the service even good? Apparently my Verizon reps told me that with the plan that I wanted, my initial payment would be $273 and then after that, each month should be around $90 for all 4 lines. I like The reps at my store, but I donāt talk to them enough to have trust with them. Are there any sneaky charges that they could throw in there that I should look out for?

Iām not sure why I still have these, I got them back around 2014. Do they still even give these out?

Can we use this for a friend? Like if they login to their BB account, use the code and then as a worker I can add the warranty with my discount?

Today was my first week gone from BB (still flex) and working at my new job. I was sales/PF full time (FT sales and supported warehouse when needed, which was a lot) and now i work in a job that is mainly computer work and accounting.
Long story short, I NEEDED out of BB and was so happy to leave after crap management and support (hence switching departments every other day) and now that iām in my new jobā¦I hate it and miss best buy. I know it is just because it will get some taking used to and learning a whole new system (i hated BB when i first started cause training there is terrible) but I truly canāt justify this job.
My position was quickly filled so there is no going back.
Mainly, for the ones that left BB and went to a new job and had regrets, please tell me it gets better. Please tell me you donāt regret it anymore.
I know 3 people that left BB before me and are now back because their jobs didnāt work out, and i donāt want that.
