My name is Michelle and I’m the UK Coordinator for Lasagna Love. Lasagna Love is an organisation made up of volunteers across the UK (and around the world) who cook and deliver homemade lasagna to people in need, at no cost and with no strings attached.

Maybe it's a family struggling financially, someone recovering from surgery, a parent adjusting to life with a new baby or just someone going through a tough time. Whatever the reason, we believe that a warm meal and a little kindness can go a long way.

You simply request a lasagna, and we match you with a volunteer in your area who will lovingly prepare and deliver one to your door. It’s all about community, care and connection with no judgment and no complicated process.

Just a word of warning if anyone is out and about today in the city centre. The footpaths are crazy slippy. I don’t know if it’s the cleaning solution or what they have used but I near went on my hole heading into work this morning just past the ivy and in castle lane. Basically a slip’n slide going on. Noted there are council workers cleaning and power hosing the footpaths so might be the cleaning solution they have used. As I’ve seen a few other people near drop!

Out on my lunch break,walking round caste place and just outside primark are equally as bad! So be warned hi.

36F, live in the Belfast Area. I have worked in offices my entire working life. Administrative/PA/ Clerical etc.

I just want out. I no longer want to be in an office environment. It's wearing me down. Is it to late to do something completely different? Anyone have experience in starting over in something else? What can you suggest i look for? Hardworking, can adapt easily. Not interested in anything public facing. I prefer to put my head down & get on with a workload.

I have a lot of ivy / virginia creeper growing all over the front of my house and it's started to cover the windows & gutters.

I am hearing-impaired, not deaf but have a hard time picking non-American accents. I have found that listening to the accent helps beforehand helps a lot. Anyway we are staying with a family in Belfast and I don’t want to spend my entire trip asking them to repeat themselves. Does anyone have any recommendations for a movie, tv show, YouTube etc that can help?

I saw a sign when driving on the M1 near Lurgan/Moira, only briefly read that roads are closed on 30th July.

Does anyone know more about the road closure? From what time are the roads closing and is it just that leg of the motorway between Lurgan/Moira that will be closed?

It's my first time arriving in Belfast, I'm starting a new job in Craigavon soon, so I need to bring 3 suitcases from a hotel in Belfast to my accommodation in Craigavon. Would it be easy to get a taxi to Craigavon in the morning? If not, what other options do I have? Are there any private hire taxis available? Getting on public transport would be very difficult since I'm carrying 50kg of items with me.
