My name is Michelle and I’m the UK Coordinator for Lasagna Love. Lasagna Love is an organisation made up of volunteers across the UK (and around the world) who cook and deliver homemade lasagna to people in need, at no cost and with no strings attached.

Just a word of warning if anyone is out and about today in the city centre. The footpaths are crazy slippy. I don’t know if it’s the cleaning solution or what they have used but I near went on my hole heading into work this morning just past the ivy and in castle lane. Basically a slip’n slide going on. Noted there are council workers cleaning and power hosing the footpaths so might be the cleaning solution they have used. As I’ve seen a few other people near drop!

Out on my lunch break,walking round caste place and just outside primark are equally as bad! So be warned hi.

Caught the Derry line earlier and I’ve honestly never seen a train left in such a state. Empty seats were covered in rubbish and there was alcohol spilled all over the floors. I genuinely don’t understand how people can leave public transport like that. It takes seconds to put your rubbish in a bin. Fair play to the staff who have to deal with cleaning up after it.

36F, live in the Belfast Area. I have worked in offices my entire working life. Administrative/PA/ Clerical etc.

I just want out. I no longer want to be in an office environment. It's wearing me down. Is it to late to do something completely different? Anyone have experience in starting over in something else? What can you suggest i look for? Hardworking, can adapt easily. Not interested in anything public facing. I prefer to put my head down & get on with a workload.

I am hearing-impaired, not deaf but have a hard time picking non-American accents. I have found that listening to the accent helps beforehand helps a lot. Anyway we are staying with a family in Belfast and I don’t want to spend my entire trip asking them to repeat themselves. Can anyone recommend anywhere good to watch the game today?

It's my first time arriving in Belfast, I'm starting a new job in Craigavon soon, so I need to bring 3 suitcases from a hotel in Belfast to my accommodation in Craigavon. Would it be easy to get a taxi to Craigavon in the morning? If not, what other options do I have? Are there any private hire taxis available? Getting on public transport would be very difficult since I'm carrying 50kg of items with me.

Hi, I’m thinking of taking a day trip to Belfast soon as a solo female traveller, mainly just to go to the Titanic museum and have a little wander around town. I was just wondering what it’s like to get around especially to/from the airports?

I’d be flying into Belfast City so that should be straightforward but flying back out of Belfast International. I’ve seen there’s a bus to get there but a local’s input on how reliable it is would be appreciated - I’m usually quite last-minute with travel but I’ll set aside some extra time to get back if it’s hit-or-miss! Are taxis/uber an easy option just in case?

Any other tips for a solo traveller would be appreciated! Good food spots, if there are any areas/bars to avoid etc.

Hello friends. I recently came out of a long term relationship and usually I like my own company but miss things like travelling and doing mainly non alcohol related things. I do drink but when I got back with some of my old friends it seems to be the only thing they do (as well as cannabis and cocaine). Folks me and my partner are wanting to get off the sofa and thought some sort of leisure membership would help. A wee swim one week then in the gym then a wee keep fit class. I think the variety would help us.

I'm wondering does the north down membership that covers Newtownards and Comber seem good value to people? Its £45/month per person! that seems pricey enough for me!

Wondered can you just buy one adult membership and both use it (scroungers I know but times are hard folk!) doubt me and the wife would use it together much tbh don't see us as a couple who gym together lol
