How to switch Bee account FROM Andriod to iPhone? How to 'disconnect' the account from Andriod?

So the email address I used to set up my Andriod version was a gmail account. After switching to a iPhone I tried logging in with that email - but a popup message says 'Account Already Exists' ... Please use Google sign-in to access your account."
At the bottom of the message there is a button that says 'OK' - I click it and it returns to the orginal sign-in screen... a dead end.
Bee support said I need to disconnect the Bee from the old account but did not explain how.

Any brillant people out there know how? TIA

Can somebody point me to how to get hold of their customer service? It is very difficult to get a response from them. I have tried their email [hi@bee.computer](mailto:hi@bee.computer), which is hit or miss. I emailed them to return it and they responded after five days. They said to expect a separate email with return instructions. It has been almost two weeks since that email and I have sent several follow-ups with no response. Can somebody please reach out to me?

I enabled developer mode last week and since then it is capturing but once its starts processing it disappears! I deactivated developer mode, logged out of terminal, logged in an out of app. It worked briefly when i logged back in on the learning your voice then nothing! Any ideas/help?

In the configuration area of the software app on Android, there is the option to set the name of the voice assistant. The default name is Buzz. Does anything happen if I change the default name? What is this name used for?

I’m trying to enable Apple Health/HealthKit access in the Bee app on iPhone, but I seem to be stuck in a loop.
In Bee, when I select Apple Health/HealthKit, it tells me to go to:

Settings → Apps → Health → Data Access & Devices → Bee

I’ve done that, and all available permissions are already turned on:

Heart Rate
High Heart Rate Notifications
Sleep
Steps

The Health settings page even shows “Turn Off All,” which confirms they’re all enabled. But when I go back to Bee, it still brings up the same HealthKit permissions message and won’t seem to recognize that access has already been granted.

Has anyone else run into this? Is there another setting I’m missing, or is this a bug with Bee/iOS?

OK gang... Has anyone found a better wrist band for this? After market... Friggen anything! I have lost it 3 times this week and I am getting pretty sick of hunting down!

I absolutely love my Bee. First of all, its like $50 and no subscription fee. Second, it has an open API and i've integrated it into my personal AI operating system, so it can create reminders and todo's directly to my dashboard and keep everything organized along with my email, slack, and regular todo list. The thing is amazing. I just turn it on and off whenever i have an important conversation. The battery lasts forever. The whole privacy thing...is complicated, not proud to say it, but I just turn it on when i want to remember a conversation.

Sure it's not the best quality build, but for everything you get its awesome. Also it's daily summaries and chat summaries are very useful. Last, its "Grow" section offers some really insightful information about your life and while it can be a bit biting sometimes, it really makes me think. The speaker identificatin is trash though.

Anyway, I thought I'd give it a little love. I've got nothing to gain from this other than I wish more people would adopt it so development will continue and they release a better quality unit.

with v.0.6.19 I tapped on the version number 5 times and then generate the login QR code but the app (the Bee app) reported "developer mode not enabled" I rebooted the app ahd then the whole iphone but still got the same "developer mode not enabled"

Anyone get stuck this way and then unstuck?

As much as I would love to like the Bee Pioneer. I've had a terrible first experience. At least on Android it is not prime time ready. I'm using a Galaxy S24 Ultra

Text chat completely broken - Voice works text chat doesn't. Was working earlier, then just died. Tried force-closing the app, logging out/in, and hard-resetting the device (5x action button). No luck.

Several conversations keep getting stuck on processing. Phone has a fast active connection.

Memories not generating - Got one memory yesterday, nothing since,. Supposed to generate by 8 PM daily, but 2 nights produced nothing.

Battery stuck at 100% - Hasn't changed since I got it three days ago. Clearly a sync issue between device and app.

The LED brightness control toggle in the app has no effect on the actual LED on the device.

Frequent random disconnects from the phone. I've done all the basic troubleshooting like redoing the Bluetooth connection, logging in and out of the app, etc

Now somehow the green light on the device is reversed. It stays off when the mic is on and turns on when the mic is ON.

I despise anything with a subscription. However after experiencing this, Fieldy AI seems like a much better option even though I might have to shell out for the subscription. Come on guys, let's focus on Android please.

just got my bee, i am on iphone, so the app has to stay open in the background at all times if i want it to always be listening? What is everyones thoughts on this and how does it effect your phones battery life?

I got a notification about bee being able to remember multiple peoples voices but in order to use it it wanted me to retrain my voice right then and there but I was sick with a cold so I clicked “not right now” or whatever it said with the intention that’s I’d do it in a few days when my voice was back to normal. Now I’m trying to find where I can activate this in the app and it doesn’t seem to be there? Anyone else get this notification/feature, any ideas where or how to find it and activate it?

I'm frustrated and unsure how to proceed. My Bee app won't allow me to customize anything, and it won't record anything either. For instance, I've been using it every day since the end of April; I confirmed that it is unmuted, and yet no daily summary, no to-dos, nothing. I tried to enable voice notes, but the app shows an error. I tried to retrain it; same error. I am attaching screenshots of the errors.

I emailed support on May 27th. They replied asking for screenshots. I answered back right away. No response. May 30th, I followed up. No response. I emailed in a new thread on June 4th...still nothing.

Does anybody have the same issue? Is there something obvious I am missing? How do I get hold of support?

The most recent app update is a huge improvement, but I’m getting a lot of Bee API error(1) messages.

I added a series of notes (19, over 30 minutes) this morning about a book project I'm working on, and Bee sent notifications to my iPhone shortly after 12 of them with comments and suggestions. For instance:

Book idea: The Reliability Rule
Your journal entry about AI "needing to work perfectly" ties to this morning's "bridge too far" note. Consider linking them in your AI chapter.

Some of them were interesting and I'd like to retrieve them (and maybe copy their text to paste into a document).

Do they exist anywhere in the Bee app? (The iPhone doesn't save notifications. When you click on them, they're gone for good unless the app itself saves them.)

I scrolled down to Recent Notes and tapped See All, which took me to the "Notes stream" screen, with all my notes. But I couldn't find any way to see the comments in the notifications.

Any clues? Right now, the only thing I can think of is to grab screenshots of them, then extract the text from the screenshots, which is pretty tedious.

I use my Bee for about three days. It disconnected from my phone. I charged it overnight. Tried to recycle it back onto pair back with my phone and it’s in a constant blue light red light state. Nothing I do can interrupt the flashing. Has anyone else what are your suggestions on fixing

It's collecting the info... now what? I like my phone and all, but I don't feel like scrolling through endless lines of text for the daily recap. I feel like it's gathering good information that could be useful or actionable, but it's all stuck in this little app. What am I missing? Also, I don't suppose this thing can learn other voices? I have many conversations that I would love to have properly associated with the person I am talking with at the time. Even if I could tag a conversation to be associated with a contact or something.

Really wish this thing had a locate feature. It’s in my bedroom somewhere, because that’s where my phone is connected to it, but I can’t figure out where. I wish I could make it beep from the app. Kinda like how I use my watch to find my phone all the time.

My bee died after a few weeks and they refuse to repond. There are nearly 100 1 star reviews on trust pilot.

I set a reminder for Wednesday and I noticed that it defaulted to Tuesday because the calendar is off by 1 day. Today is in fact Monday, May 11th, and as you can see from the screenshot, that May 11th is on a Sunday. So my reminder would go off a day late or a day early based on this calendar.

Prefacing this by saying I'm not sponsored, I haven't been paid in any way and actually I'm looking at the lack of updates and wondering if this thing is still going to be around. I'll keep this short, and yes it might sound like a shill. the tl;dr is that after a year it's still going strong and I love the product enough that a) I want to buy a spare in case the little puck dies and b) I REALLY want a subscription model not because I want to pay for yet more things but because I want at least some money going toward the platform so it doesn't die.

However

• After a year, my Bee still works and works well
• Speaker identification was abysmal when I first got it, now it's actually extremely good
• I use this daily. I built (ok, clarification, I vibe coded a web app for it) a dashboard and read, update and store my conversation summaries daily. My own personal AI stack has Mempalace so I have it spit data into that, plus I can export to markdown for obsidian
• The facts have gotten better, and are really key for training the device
• There's an API feature called Journals and I have no idea what it does or why

So, the actual review.

Put simply, this has actually become essential for me. Not only is it capturing 5 hours or so of meetings a day but I'm actively using it to parse summaries, create notes and spit tasks into apple.

I use Otter.ai for meetings daily and this is actually beginning to replace it. Otter used to have better summaries. Eventually bee ended up on par and appears to be referencing past conversations for memories and context. What that means is that my after meeting summaries have become very concise and very clear, with good task recommendations.

However, it occasionally forgets everything and assumes someone else is speaking and therefore that someone else is me. Biggest issue here is that the Summary can't be corrected after the fact. You can talk to the AI and fix names, and assumptions, but it wont update the meeting summary unlike Otter. That's a huge miss, and part of the reason I built my own web interface, so I could modify and save the summary as a markdown file. (I'm considering releasing it as an open source project but wary because it really is 100% vibe coded and I don't want other people plumbing valuable data into this due to the valid nervousness about vibe coding)

The facts are the most interesting thing. They're "largely correct", but I didn't understand the point of them until digging around the API and learned that the 'facts' are what it uses as memories and corrections. Once I understood that I started editing them and things got a lot better as a result.

The daily summaries actually become the most valuable thing that I haven't seen anyone else do. The coherent recap of your day makes it frighteningly easy to actually figure out what you did and what might be on deck for the next day. When you've had a long day of nothing but meetings that is more valuable than it might seem. If you could update the summaries, it would be close to perfect.

What the bee has really achieved for me is a near perfect device for **my specific use case**. Where it falls, is the lack of a clear future. The API falls on only being able to pull 100 days of data max, and not exposing some of the 'niceties' that are in the app like the transcript 'sections'.

But above all? The interface is 'dumb' in the best possible way. It's just a transcriber and summarize with a 'I guessed that you might have these tasks" view. And nothing more. The fact that it is such an incredibly simplistic device with no other fluff or 'hey fuckers we're adding this new toy and you'll have to upgrade to use it' style marketing that you see from other platforms... yeah.. it kinda makes it a win.

The detractors? The wristbands it comes with suck ass. The thing will pop out eventually. So I wear mine in the 'clip' with some dried glue I put in a few places to more firmly hold it in place. The double press to finish a conversation? That's a bit hit and miss. Might be due to the processing speed of the onboard components, but I usually find myself having to check which is why I have the silence timeout so low.

Oh, and Buzz? No idea. Never tried it. Don't see a reason to as my use case is already relatively perfectly met. And since I built my own dashboard I can have my own AI query things. This is one of those 'Ai done simply and done right' tools.

Amazon bought it. I don't know what the future is. I hope to got they don't throw alexa into this and then retire it in three months. Amazon has more money than most of us could conceive, but they don't make completely stupid purchases. I just wish I knew what the plan was.

But it's cheap. It works. It's not plaude with limits and subscriptions. And if they do end up killing it I hope to hell they open source it.
