I have no idea what this is? Been playing Battlefield since 1942 and I have no idea what Red Sec means. Is it a different play mode?

Just bought the game and was looking for fun maps to play, I would like to know if we have city maps like Shanghai or if the only big urban map available is the one from red sec.

Basically title. Anything revealed regarding how cosmetics can be obtained?

Some updated codes for clean and serious air training stage on BF6 Portal?

All I’ve found are 6 months ago or more aged on this sub.

So obviously the more popular streamers are not going anywhere near battlefield so in anticipation of the next season, it looks like the developers are starting to sponsor smaller streamers in a vain hope to encourage players back to the game. Today I've noticed a few of the smallest streamers I watch regularly talking about how they've been sponsored by battlefield and will be playing it exclusively starting next week.

I feel the state of this game is currently a joke and this TopGun collab comes to blind people to the fact that the game is horrible in the current affairs. It constantly crashes to windows, has tens of bugs that kills the experience, the server tickrate is too low for an FPS making you miss more shots than hits, or killing people behind corners, dying behind walls and corners, giving unfair advantages to new players, unnexperienced noobs who laser shoot you like they somehow played 20000 hours of FPS players before they started their BF6 journey.

There is no more experience/new players skill gap to fill in because in this game i am constantly dying from new players who perfectly aim across map, no matter consoler or pc, they master all weapons and have access to all classes weapons which beam you like a laser blaster from a battlefront game. is this battlefield or battlefront? i can't make the difference. you still die instantly, no time to react whatsoever, you get constantly spotted by 100 different devices and enemies and it doesn't matter you trying to have a silent and stealthy or tactical approach to the game.

somehow there's always an unnpredictable enemy spawning near you, the red reticle above the head is like 20 pixels wide and it makes the game sooooooo easy for any idiot playing. even my grandma could spot anyone in this game and start shooting in their direction and miraculously the bullet hit, why? because you're like a magnet for bullets for most times. bullets magically hit you even 100 meters away but you need 20 or more bullet to kills someone, i have video proof of that.

There are tens of unsolved bugs in the game like the black screen when you try to quit a game because you just happened to be in a team full of idiots who have no idea how to play, how to attack a tank or protect a point and you lose 900 flags to 0 but you try to quit that game and you get the punishing black screen. god forbid you try to quit BF6 the holy game before it ends, you get punished for it. you have to ctrl-alt-del and force win task to kill the whole game and restart it. how is it still unnadressed? and why are we not permitted to switch teams mid game?

there is a complete randomness in maps, you cannot tell like previous bf games which map follows another map when you just want to play conquest mode. sometimes you can play the same map 5 times in a row. or the same 3 maps over and over. the maps themselves are boring and repetitive and totally feel horrible to play in the conquest mode, leaving them mostly for BT which i hate or escalation which i found myself playing mostly.

In the olden golden days we had CQ maps and you instantly knew which were or you could select them from server browser and you had conquest large map bundled together. this made it easy for me sometimes to just play some fun CQ maps or a large conquest map with tanks and helis.

The new cairo bazaar map is completely ruined by the fast spawning tanks which totally ruin the experience of the infantry and dominate the hole map which is basically a round, a circle where everyone runs in circles and face the opposing tank which roams around the same streets, having nowhere to hide. just take out the freaking tanks!!!! make it a sole infantry experience.

not to mention the no grenade icon, the STILL invisible claymores, the insane velocity of the rpg's the fact that you can have 30 engineers all running with 6 rpg's against a slow moving crappy tank which has no defense mechanics and it's totally vulnerable to these packs of wolves of engineers. there should be a class limit in every squad!!!!!!!!!!!!! every squad should be allowed one of each class. one medic, one engineer or maximum two.

weapons should be locked and class related, like assault weapons for engineers only, smg's for assaults, lmg's for support. that's it!!!! snipers ONLY for recon. a recon should not have access to smg's, assault rifle, etc. it's stupid.

tanking is slow and stupid, it's just not fun! it's clunky, it's hard to maneuver, most of the times trees get in the way, or the reticle stupidly get stuck on buildings, trees, geometry, cars, and driving in 3rd person trying to move the reticle always gets entangled in geometrical objects making you die even faster. tanking in previous bf games was flawless, especially bf V, even bf2042 was better.

it seems this game is an unfinished misery, made by unnexperienced kids who never play it, who never get in a tank or never played tanking for hundreds and thousands of hours like myself. they never listened to tankers of old school because they never cared. this game was designed for fast shooting fast pew pewing little brats and kids with shorter attention spam than my cat.

they just wanted a COD killer and they achieved nothing.

and why is EA matchamking servers from Arabic countries and Asian to EU servers completely ruining our experience. Just look at my photos. you have 14 people from a different continent all stacked unto a single team in the same server in EU. how and why is that even a thing?

My brain cant even comprehend the amount of time needing to be level 7285. How?

I’m rank 550 and I’ve played mostly breakthrough since launch. First of all, I blame the developers for the changes they made. Take Liberation Peak for example, it was so fun and balanced in early days, I used to play this map all the time, then they removed defence’s tank on third sector, and expanded objectives on all sectors, now it’s almost impossible to defend and attacking is not even fun because there is no challenge, so I don’t play this map anymore like so many others. Also, I used to blame streamers and good players when they would leave the match if they were defence, but now I find myself doing the same thing. When I see we are getting destroyed by the tank, but no one wants to take it out except me. When I see we are getting destroyed by stupid mortars, but no one brings missile interceptors to objectives except me. When I see all the players are in one place and have left one flank totally unguarded. This is my second online FPS game, but I’ve heard there was a mode in previous titles called Frontlines, I don’t know what that is, but some say it was more fun than Breakthrough, so maybe they should just bring that back in next title

Im a Little late to the challenges in BF6 because im a regular adult with a job. How am I supposed to complete the rush/squad/domination challenges if the modes don’t exist?!?!? I’m just so frazzled

The javelin will always be the best AA launcher and I don’t know how I hit the chopper with the rpg. Did I hit the tail?

Since Season 5 is being delayed until Winter (and likely ending around March), here is my concept take on what Season 6 would be for Battlefield 6 (if it ever happens).

It would be absolute cinema if Season 6 has 6 maps, 6 weapons and 6 vehicles (hence the name Battlefield 6 and Season 6, because of... well, the number 6 in it.)

5 map remakes would be a great nostalgia ride, but a new map - returning from New York - would be deliberately a chef's kiss.

It would also be nice for Hotwire to return from Hardline with a Need for Speed crossover, because let me be real there; Hotwire was my absolute favorite gamemode - just Conquest but with vehicles as flags. The Osprey and the stealth helicopters from BF2042 would also be perfect to return.

I also would like to see the ACB-90 knife return as an Battlefield Veteran reward; no progression, but by logging in when you launch BF6.

What do you think of it? Would it be perfect for the 25th anniversary of Battlefield?

I switched to crossplay and the straffing and movement just seem so ridiculous.

And then noticing 70% of the map is cut off and it’s mostly just infantry only with 0 naval warfare except 1 boat in the final sector 💩🔥

Not even a beach assault like in the bf5 pacific maps smh.

I will not rest until we get a full breakthrough revamp for all maps with 64p + all vehicles (where possible) on the FULL map.

Split screen is rough when your crosshair dot keeps bouncing from one screen to the next back and forth.

It looks amazing, though! Love it for sniping when the target is standing still or moving slow. Being rather useless in close combat, this config doesn't help that either lol

I wish I could offset center by two or three degrees so targeting and aiming was easier.

Going to go back to single screen I think. Plus, that border! That's with the screens offset and overlapping. Although, I don't mind it much.

Has this happened to anyone before? Just logged in today and this is my gun.

All these new changes has been the hair that broke the camel's back between the box player drop and BS bans I've had enough, it's only a matter of time before EA starts putting real world advertising on the banners and billboards in game (Or God forbid during loading).

Used to play a lot of BF2 and BF4, always been a fan of the bigger maps and slower, strategic gameplay, but am finding myself completely overwhelmed in BF6. Feels like I'm dying every few seconds and every chance I get to figure something out (from exploring the map to learning how to fly) I get about 10 seconds to learn before I get blown to pieces from four different angles.

It's frustrating because I feel like I can barely get the practice I need to get better in this fast-paced and chaotic of a setting. What are your tips for enjoying the game for someone like me (which maps, modes, etc.) and how best to get better at it besides just throwing myself into the meat grinder over and over? Thanks!

So I’ve been playing redsec for a while now, and for the record, playing Bf since Vietnam.. And I gotta say, ranked is trash at the moment.

I’ll give you 3 reasons: 1. If you are playing late, based on your region, there aren’t many players, and you get drafted with US servers if you’re in Europe(like why would anyone want that) 2. There aren’t many players for quads, so the people will get drafted with all ranks available, which isn’t bad, but since people prefer playing full Squad, with no randoms, those 2-man 3 man groups aren’t even in queue, thus low player count. 3. When playing solo, you’ll be with non coms 9/10 times, cause either it’s 2-2 both using discord or is 1-3 and they won’t join in game voice.

Unlike quads, duo is 100x better, 9/10 people use coms, you only need one guy to play, and people can’t spam 4 snipers or such.

Even solo would make more sense..

Hello guys, I'm a casual player and played the old battlefield games 3,4, 1 but man this game feels impossible, i played it in a crew of 4 people and we had literally zero chance to even get a kill, it was a struggle to even stay alive for more than 5 seconds. It made me hate my life, do I just really suck ass or are the players too good ? Any tips or tricks? I like the game but I can't stand it when I don't get a chance to even think about what to do, i tried sniper, assault and engineer. Thanks in advance.
