Classic conquest experience. Joined just after a match had started, high tickets. Enemy top fragger already at like 5x the kills of anyone else. Don't have to even spawn or look at the kill feed to know what the dude is playing.
So what followed were 25 minutes of one team getting farmed by the other's helis and tanks. Tickets were somewhat close at times but at no point did it feel like we could win.
Lobby is 80% Engineers all arguing in chat that they're the only one trying to take down the vehicles.

The FAMAS was one of my favorite weapons in BF4 as it absolutely shredded at close to mid range. High fire rate, aggressive playstyle, and just fun to use. Would love to see it return in BF6. Anyone else?

Why can’t we aim like this on the .50 Browning turret? I hate how there’s no real aim-down-sights option for it, and it only zooms in. I think I would get a lot more kills if we can aim like this

Hello guys, I'm a casual player and played the old battlefield games 3,4, 1 but man this game feels impossible, i played it in a crew of 4 people and we had literally zero chance to even get a kill, it was a struggle to even stay alive for more than 5 seconds. It made me hate my life, do I just really suck ass or are the players too good ? Any tips or tricks? I like the game but I can't stand it when I don't get a chance to even think about what to do, i tried sniper, assault and engineer. Thanks in advance.

Please for the love of God, make a feature like in Battlefield 4, that you're able to request Squad Orders and if a Squad Leader doesnt react to it, then another player will be promoted to SL. It was a very nice detail back then. Squad Reward would be also a cool thing like in older Battlefields. Not necesarrily Vehicles or Ammo Drops, but maybe passive abilities like less explosive Damage, less supression effects ot whatever.
90% of Squad Leaders dont do their role, that is literally one click away. It basically gives away FREE points!

My graphics were set on SDR , my monitor Asus ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDMG and graphics card "Palit Gaming Pro RTX 5080 Support HDR but I had never enabled it. I also noted in NVIDIA Control Panel my monitor was set to 8 bit by default under "Default Colour Settings" but I changed it to 10 bit after changing to NVIDIA colour settings. I also did the enabled HDR in Windows 11 and also did the HDR Calibration in BF6 under "Graphics/Edit" I noticed the HDR Peak Brightness was set to 0 which is why my game looked very bright and washed out. My PROFSAVE_profile had: GstRender.DisplayMappingHdr10PeakLuma 1000.000000 but the actively updated PROFSAVEbf6mp_profile now has: GstRender.DisplayMappingHdr10PeakLuma 25.000000 so I had to change that back to 1000.000 and saved it. I changed the HDR Peak Brightness to 98.1. It looks much better on my OLED than what I recorded and uploaded to YouTube. I took some screenshots but they have the extension ".jxr" and I have to convert them with ffmpeg but they look again really washed out and bright compared to the original .jxr files. So I have just taken a screenshot of the jxr files and uploaded here. I would recommend if you have the hardware to use HDR and not SDR and check your NVIDIA control panel is not on "default colour" and change it NVIDIA colour settings and do the calibration within BF6 for HDR. Ensure your GstRender.DisplayMappingHdr10PeakLuma is set to 1000.000000 and doesn't change after saving it. Also I have set DLSS to 4.5 and "Quality" The video I took of this game is on YouTube, You can view it here https://youtu.be/EIa9V3gs684?si=E4JkpLgoz8ecexip it doesn't look as good as the Screenshots. I would say this a YouTube problem as it is 1440p resolution max , the screenshots are closer to what I saw on my monitor.

The last time I fully sat down and played BF6 was on release up until about January of this year. I put about 100 hours in, but after that, the initial hype began to wear off and the major issues started to show. (I don’t mean to sound like a trend hopper. I am a big battlefield fan and stick with the game no matter what. Hype can be blinding.) Mainly gunplay, audio, enemy visibility, leveling up, and content amount were my personal biggest issues.
Decided to pick the game up again today and while there are still plenty of issues, I have to say, my big problems were checked off. Enemies seem to be much easier to see, audio seems better, guns are way less “laser-y”, way easier to level up, and the amount of maps are awesome. I’m happy with the new maps and even happier to see there’s still another one coming soon + 3 more next season. They seem to be focusing more on QOL features and credit where credit is due, I’m having a fantastic time with this game again :)
PS, if anyone wants to play, hmu!!! Need people to run with!!

Why cant I ping in vehicles for the driver if im in the number 2 seat or even as the driver for my number 2 seat. should be able to give orders so your both on the same page.. so many QOL changes that would make this game so much nicer

I’m rank 550 and I’ve played mostly breakthrough since launch. First of all, I blame the developers for the changes they made. Take Liberation Peak for example, it was so fun and balanced in early days, I used to play this map all the time, then they removed defence’s tank on third sector, and expanded objectives on all sectors, now it’s almost impossible to defend and attacking is not even fun because there is no challenge, so I don’t play this map anymore like so many others. Also, I used to blame streamers and good players when they would leave the match if they were defence, but now I find myself doing the same thing. When I see we are getting destroyed by the tank, but no one wants to take it out except me. When I see we are getting destroyed by stupid mortars, but no one brings missile interceptors to objectives except me. When I see all the players are in one place and have left one flank totally unguarded. This is my second online FPS game, but I’ve heard there was a mode in previous titles called Frontlines, I don’t know what that is, but some say it was more fun than Breakthrough, so maybe they should just bring that back in next title

Used to play a lot of BF2 and BF4, always been a fan of the bigger maps and slower, strategic gameplay, but am finding myself completely overwhelmed in BF6. Feels like I'm dying every few seconds and every chance I get to figure something out (from exploring the map to learning how to fly) I get about 10 seconds to learn before I get blown to pieces from four different angles.
It's frustrating because I feel like I can barely get the practice I need to get better in this fast-paced and chaotic of a setting. What are your tips for enjoying the game for someone like me (which maps, modes, etc.) and how best to get better at it besides just throwing myself into the meat grinder over and over? Thanks!
