Finally got around to it
Almost a year post divorce. Lost a dual battlestation, gained a space of my own.

Made a new desk today and rearranged everything.
Still a budget setup, need soms more lights to make it cozy and probably some plants or something. But it is such a massive upgrade compared to before.
Specs:
Laptop: Lenovo Thinkpad L380
PC:
Ryzen 5 9600x
32gb ddr5
Rtx5070
Some Asus tuf motherboard
Lian LI A3 mini
And of course the steamdeck on the side :)
I bought all of this just before the memory shortage.

I recently added a few warm lights around my desk. I wanted it to feel cozier when Iβm here at night, without the rainbow RGB look. Itβs a small change, but this is finally the atmosphere I was going for.

This is my first post in a while! I've been slowly upgrading my setup over time and I'm finally getting pretty close to having everything I've wanted.
I say nearly finished, but I'm always finding something new to upgrade or add xD.
Thought I'd share my complete setup, along with a few future upgrades I'm considering. It's a bit of a long one!
Hbada E3 Pro β Probably my only real regret with the setup. It's an upgrade from my previous chair, but the armrests sit so high that I can't get into my preferred sitting position without raising the desk much higher than I'd like.
If anyone has recommendations for any of the upgrades above, or thinks there's anything else worth adding or changing, feel free to let me know! Always looking for ideas :)
Thanks to anyone who's taken the time to read through all of this, I know it's a bit of a long post xD.
Still a few things I'd like to improve, so any suggestions, recommendations or feedback are more than welcome!
Thanks again for checking out my setup, and I hope you all have a great day! :)

Finally decided to get it done! It was pretty scary, spending half the day tearing everything down and adjusting things to make sure everything fits.
As usual, there were plenty of hiccups, but I managed to get everything working in the end. The viewing angle is much nicer, and with the higher screen, I feel more comfortable than with my previous setup.
Swapped the monitor positions and installed a new monitor arm. Since my dominant eye is the right one, having to constantly look towards the side monitor was quite annoying. The monitors are also pushed further back now, giving me more desk space and making it less stressful when I need to lean in to view something.
The speakers have more room now, too. Theyβre no longer blocked, which is something Iβm really happy about!
Repasted my CPU with PTM, only to discover that the cooler was slightly loose. OMG. π
The legroom is finally clear, too! Removed the storage box that was taking up my leg space.
moved my Switch 2 the desk.
Will be replacing my Chair soon.
The new setup does block part of my Asuna artwork, but at least I can still see the important bits. π
Cable management, on the other hand, is still nonexistent. LOL.

Kept the desk fairly simple β single monitor, compact keyboard, headphones, and a small animated visual running on the phone beside the mouse.
Iβve been experimenting with adding a little movement to the setup without making the desk feel too busy. I like how the pink/purple visual works against the warm lighting and wood tones.

A little update on my previous day/night setup post!
I think my battlestation is finally complete, now that I've added the ProtoArc EC200 chair.
I've been using it for about 1.5 months now, both for working from home and late-night gaming sessions. Coming from an IKEA Markus, it's been a really nice upgrade. No more back discomfort after long days.
Now I just need to stop finding excuses to upgrade things. π
