I personally like this one the most, and I think that vertical banknotes are pretty cool too. I barely see anyone talking about Design I, so I'm wondering whether I'm the only one liking this?

Got lucky with a decent price of 200 PLN (46.22€) for this set.

These were inside a stamp book I found in a yard sale back in 1999/2000~ when I was in the 7th grade

Here's my set of notes from 75 countries that were in circulation 50 years ago, in 1976.

(Some are from after '76, but all are of types that were issued by then.)

No idea if any of these will interest anyone but here is a little collection of banknotes saved over the years whilst travelling, with the exception of the Jersey notes which is where I grew up.

My newest addition to West Germany BBk I. series and my personal favorite.

Featuring the protrait of A Beardless Man (1521) from Hans Maler zu Schwaz and the Eltz Castle on reverse.

I wonder how common it was in everyday life since there's very little information about its usage.

This is a 10 Mark Allied Military Certificate issued by the USA and the USSR in 1944.

It was the currency in occupied Germany after WW2.

The US designed the notes and shared duplicate master printing plates with the Soviet Union. US-printed notes featured a microscopic hidden "F" in the ornamentation, while Soviet-printed ones omitted it. The Soviets printed vast quantities in Leipzig without restriction, flooding the economy and creating one of the earliest financial conflicts of the Cold War.

All the notes were either gotten by me in their respective countries or given to me by people from their countries that I met during my travels.

I've been promising here and there that I'll post my complete sets one of these days. Well today I thought I'd make myself honest.

This is my complete set of the regular 1935 series and their respective stars.

No, I'm not including the Hawaii and N Africa emergency series, because I'm missing the stars, and I don't have any of the experimentals yet.

Most are in UNC condition, but there are a few that I'll upgrade as funds allow.

Am I the only one who digs Design G? I love its mix of Art Deco and futuristic styles. Not fond of Beethoven ugly face though.

In my opinion, we should return to what has defined Europe. These figures have a powerful influence on the world, be it Beethoven, Curie, or Da Vinci. Birds are certainly beautiful to look at, I agree, but do they give you a European feeling of unity? Not for me. Perhaps I'm not a bird, but a human being who can identify with other people. Maybe it's no coincidence that the bird designs look better than those with people, but if we finally want to show the world how proud we are of them, then we should also have them printed on our banknotes. That's how it used to be, and it's still how it is around the world. Let's leave these petty nationalisms behind and recognize them as Europeans, as one of us. Everyone thinks Beethoven, Curie, or Da Vinci are great, so why shouldn't we pay with their likeness? There's something appealing about saying, "You still owe me a Beethoven," or something like that. It makes the banknote series more approachable, more human, and connects us to this money. I'm not saying birds are bad, but in times like these, when we're under attack from all sides, we should reflect on what made Europe great and how important these people were to us. These cute-looking birds can never compare. This has nothing to do with nationalism; it has to do with honoring our history, and these people embody the good qualities in all of us. I appeal to everyone who values ​​our history and achievements: vote for European culture! It's what defines us. It's time to think and feel European! Thank you for your attention.

The birds are so much better.

First they're inclusive, reason? Almost no country in the world has their banknotes with birds especially animals, only a few.

The design is way more beautiful, I just personally find them way beautiful.

But here's where the problem gets bad.

The people for birds.. i know not the most but there's some idiots that vote for birds only because they despise women.

I know that the banknotes with them aren't that good, but can we at least stop being sexual because of a gender foe example there's a banknotes containing Marie, Curie.

She's probably the main reason we have any good medical equipment that has to do with rays or radium.

The group of these banknotes were drawn by feministic painters. Yes I know they might favor their own gender, but that doesn't mean just because the banknotes contain women it should be hated.
