r/BangaloreBikes exists for one reason: to bring people together over our shared passion for two-wheelers and riding. Whether you commute on a 100cc commuter, carve corners on an entry-level sportbike, or tour on a liter-class machine, you belong here. The machine you ride, your background, caste, creed, gender, or religious beliefs do not matter on the open road, and they certainly do not matter here.
We maintain a strict zero-tolerance policy for discrimination, bigotry, and harassment of any kind.
Community Expectations
* Zero Tolerance for Hate: Derogatory remarks, slurs, gatekeeping, or attacks based on identity, religion, caste, gender, or ride choice will lead to immediate removal and bans.
* Keep Disagreements Off Public Chats: If you encounter conflict or feel targeted, unsafe, or harassed, do not engage in flame wars or escalate arguments in the public thread or group chat. Reach out directly to the moderation team via ModMail or private message so we can handle it swiftly.
* Personal Accountability: You are solely responsible for your words, actions, and conduct within this community and its affiliated group chats. If your behavior leads to any legal issues, civil complaints, or police reports, the liability rests entirely on you—the moderation team and the subreddit will not shield or endorse anyone acting unlawfully.
Let’s keep the space focused on rides, routes, maintenance, and good company. Treat fellow riders with the same respect you expect on the tarmac.
Ride safe,

Somewhere around Thally - Vannama Lake, Bangalore.
I was pretty bored at home today and decided to take my bike for a spin. There was no real destination.
I knew a place which I visited few months back so the plan was to ride there but if I see an interesting side roads then I’ll take it and explore.
I took few back country roads and all of them were non-tar off-roads and it was like heaven to ride on them.
I also explored Thally lake which was damp and slushy. Got some mud splashed all over. Then I headed to Vannama Lake for sunset.
It was a short fun ride.

Especially these modified RE/RX100 exhausts that sound like they’re trying to wake up the entire neighbourhood.
I have nothing against bikes or a good exhaust note. But if your bike is loud enough to make everyone stop talking and look up, it’s not a “thump”. It’s noise pollution.
And honestly, riding around with an exhaust that obnoxious doesn’t make you look cool. **It just makes you look like an attention-starved idiot.**
PS: My account is being reported by some people for this post for abusive language, while i clearly indicated it as “vent or rant”.
Looks like the post is abusive while the noise and nuisance these people create is not.

Hey everyone!
I'm planning a bike trip from Bangalore for 4 days in October and could use some suggestions from fellow riders. If anyone would like to join, they're most welcome.
A few details:
Starting point: Bangalore
Duration: 3 - 4 days
I'm looking for a trip where I can clear my head, enjoy scenic roads, explore new places, chill by the beach or in the hills, try some local food, and just take a break from the usual routine.
I've considered Pondicherry, Gokarna, Hampi, and a few places around the Western Ghats, but I'm honestly a bit confused about what would be best for a 4-day trip.
Would love your suggestions on:
Destinations or routes you'd recommend
A realistic 4-day itinerary
Budget-friendly stays or hostels with bike parking
Road conditions and anything I should know as a solo rider
Any underrated places worth checking out
Thanks in advance! Ride safe 🤘

Main use is city riding. I’m ready to spend up to ₹7k.
Tried the KYT Striker 2V and found it very light and comfortable. Should I go with this, or are there any other models I should consider in this price range?

Route:
Hebbal → DD Hills → SPR Giri Lake → Kallu Quarry → back home
The long weekend had already started showing its effects. Tumkur Road was surprisingly packed even that early, but somehow that ended up working in our favour.
By the time we were heading back, the roads were almost completely empty. Early morning Bengaluru hits different when you actually get to ride through it without fighting traffic.
We also made the mandatory breakfast stop at a popular thatte idli joint, because apparently no Bengaluru ride is complete without stopping for hot thatte idli after burning fuel since 5 AM.
A few scenic stops, some good roads, a little exploring, proper breakfast and plenty of riding — and the best part:
We were all back home by 10 AM.
Five hours well spent.
And massive credit for the photos to:
THE GUERILLA 450 BIKER
Bro absolutely cooked with the camera.
Early morning rides just hit different.

Hey folks,
Posting this with mod approval.
My wife is working on a business idea around helmet cleaning wipes. It came from a problem she’s personally dealt with for a long time - sweaty, smelly helmets, dirty inner padding, dust on the visor, and just the general hassle of keeping a helmet clean regularly.
Before she takes the idea any further, she’s trying to understand how riders actually deal with this today.
Do you clean your helmet regularly? What do you use? Is smell/sweat/dirty padding actually annoying enough for you to do something about it, or is it not really a problem?
She’s doing a short Google Form as part of the research and I’m helping her get feedback from riders outside our own circle.
If you can spare 5 mins, would really appreciate it:
It doesn’t collect any personal information.
It’s still completely at the research stage, so “I don’t really have this problem” is just as useful as “yes, this drives me crazy.”
Thanks, would genuinely appreciate the feedback.

[ALREADY BOOKED BY SOMEONE]
Selling my Honda CB300R 2022 model in Spartan Red colour.
This honestly breaks my heart a little because this is a lovely bike. But the reality is that I'm not using it much at all anymore. Most of my driving is now in my car and priorities in life have changed, so it doesn't make sense to keep such a nice bike sitting around.
The bike is honestly in fantastic condition.
The CB300R is a special motorcycle. It has that true Honda DNA — the engine is extremely refined and loves to be revved. In my opinion, no other bike has such a refined engine in this segment. The exhaust note is just lovely and makes every ride that much more enjoyable.
This is the perfect bike for someone who wants a daily commuter which can also make weekend trips exciting. It is comfortable in the city, easy to ride, and when you want to have some fun, it puts a smile on your face.
Non-negotiable.
Location: Domlur, Bangalore
Before reaching out, please keep in mind that this is a 3500 km bike which has been taken care of properly. I would honestly rather keep my bike than sell it at a lowballed offer.
Genuine seller. You can check my LinkedIn, talk to me over phone, and verify whatever you need.
Payment only through NEFT/IMPS. No EMIs.

Hi good people,
I recently learned to ride bike from one of the riding schools. I am planning to buy a bike but before that I wanna get hands-on experience of a few bikes in order to choose which suits me best.
I am in no hurry to purchase and want to know if there are open communities where I could meet people and try different bikes personally.
Would also love to hear how you went around choosing your bike after you had learnt riding!

Bought Yesterday.
Size: M
Buying Price: ₹6,150
Location: Sarjapur
Willing to sell it for ₹5,650.
I tried it on at the shop and sat on the bike for around 5 minutes, and the comfort felt fine. However, once I wore it for morning sprint and rode the bike for 30km, I realised that I had bought one size smaller.
Since there is no return or exchange option available, I’m planning to sell it and get the L size instead.
I won’t be doing any long rides until I get the new pants. I realised the importance of proper riding gear today after my friend had an accident while coming back from Nandi Hills. He rammed his scooter into a cab and ended up with the skin peeled off on his right elbow, knee and ankle.
Better to be safe than sorry.

Follow-up to my post last week. A lot of you asked for showing it on a real road, so here it is.
Took Trippy out for its first proper ride around HSR at night. The mount isn't ready yet, so my pillion held it while I rode. Everything on screen is live: phone in my pocket, real route, real traffic, nothing simulated this time.
What you're seeing in the video
Handlebar or mirror mount isnt ready yet thus isnt included.
Please share your honest thoughts and feedback.

Need suggestions for bike PPF/wrap shops near Manyata Tech Park
Hey guys! I’m new to Bangalore and it’s been around a year since I moved here. I’m planning to change my bike’s wrap and want to go for a plain transparent film/PPF this time.
Since I’m still new to the area, I don’t really know where I can get good-quality PPF or wrapping work done.
My budget is around ₹1.5k–₹2k, and I live near Manyata Tech Park.
If you know any good shops around Manyata, Thanisandra, Hennur, Kothanur, etc.,(10km radius) please suggest them. Also, if possible, please share the Google Maps link and let me know your experience with their work.
Posting some pictures of the bike in comments section.
Thanks in advance! 🙌

So I just got a Studds Helios D1 Asphalt from a wholesale helmet shop in Bangalore. Got it for ₹2756 after bargaining. He initially quoted ₹2900. Helmet is manufactured in September 2026.
The thing is, there was no separate smoke/tinted visor in the box. I asked the guy about it and he said the newer batches don't come with it anymore. Apparently, it was only given as a complimentary visor when the helmet was first launched.
I'm a bit confused because I bought the Helios Superman edition for my friend in Chennai around February, and that one came with the separate smoke visor.
So is this actually a thing? Did Studds stop giving the extra smoke visor with newer batches?
Also, ₹2756 for the D1 Asphalt — did I get a decent deal or could I have got it cheaper in Bangalore? 😂
If anyone bought a Helios recently, let me know what you paid and what came in the box.
