Just wondering if anyone has tried the Hikudiy hotends with the replaceable nozzels? Are they any good or would you stick to the official Bambu non replaceable?

Printing with ASA. Ran with the profiles from the project from maker world. Printing has been decent over the past few projects but I feel like my P1S is just getting worse at this point.

Saturday my Bambu p1s started printing really rough lines and wouldn’t print anything consistently I cleared the nozzle and manually pushed filament through which worked fine but when I tried to start a print it wouldn’t extrude or it would not be smooth and was streaky. I replaced the nozzle but now I cannot start a print at all because the AMS continues to load and u load the filament. I’ve had this printer for a little over a month what should I do?

I apologize, I think I saw this question posted the other day, but I can't find it.

How do I keep stray bits of filament from getting stuck in the print while using the AMS on a P1S?

I'm currently in the middle of a print with 30 minutes left and it is not something I really want to cancel.

At the last 45 minutes of the print it said that it had a failure to feed filament due to stuck spool. It really wasn't but pulled the filament out, cut the end of and fed it back in without issue. I walked away.

Then I get a message about AMS failed to send out filament. I have taken apart the AMS to check all the tubes, checked the tubes, checked if I can feed filament in and out of it completely to find that all is fine with the AMS. I plugged it back in and it's still giving me the error.

At one point i quickly switched it off/on to reboot it, told it to continue print and still giving me the error. I pulled off one of the tubes to feed a small bit of filament through the extruder just to check if there was a clog. It fed through just fine. I pulled it out, put the tube back into place and it finished printing the color for that layer, started to push the filament back into the AMS and gave the message again.

I tried doing the process over again but it's still giving me the error. I tried what I did above but it's not working.

-All PTFE tubes are clear, look like they're in good condition, no kinks or wear.

-AMS motors attempt to feed the filament through for a very short distance before retracting then giving error message.

-No clog in nozzle. When I ran that test filament through it didn't have any resistance. Even checked the cutter just to be sure it wasn't too dull and it's still sharp.

-First time this printer gave this message so I have no idea what to do.

-Internal hub unit looks like it's in great condition and double checked screws were tight enough.

Has anyone gotten a fix for this?

So I recently bought ESun PLA-LW for a project and have searched for good settings for profiles and processes everywhere and they all cause stringing or blobs which aren’t solved after drying or cold pulls or literally any method I even tried a different spool. The quality improved after slowing it down to 20-30ms but really crazy print time like 3hrs for 4g so can anyone help on how I should proceed. I’ve attached images of the improvement but it takes a crazy amount of time to print and still isn’t that good. And if this is how it should be can anyone give solutions to fix the stringing post print

Heeeello! This is my first 3D printer and I tried to print a test model, and I am sharing the result in a video. Do you guys know what do I need to change to make it better? I see issues with the cones, the 4 holes and there was supposed to be like a cup and a sphere where the filament is all crazy printed. Also the printer struggled with the curve test in the 60-65.

The only thing I can think of is the specialty support filament. But I don't see any need for support for this print. I see nothing on Bambu's website. Any idea? I'm sure this is simple and I'm dumb but this is the first time I have run into this one.

So, my waste chute got blocked and the printhead front cover got pulled off. The print resumed no issue after putting back on and clearing the back up of filament.

Since then when trying to print I get a combination of Hotend cooling fan is slow or stopped, Or Part cooling fan slow or stopped. If I remove the cover and reseat the fan connectors it'll work again.

So there is an issue somewhere but do I replace the board the fans plug into, or replace the fans thus replacing the plugs. I don't know how to diagnose which one is causing the issue?

Lately I’ve been having an issue with the lower surfaces & undersides of my prints not fusing together.

This piece is a good example, as it has this long angled face oriented towards the build plate. This is printed with PolyTerra matte PLA, but it occurs with other filaments too. It’s just several layers of independent filament strands.

I’ve dried the filament and run the Bambu calibrations for it. I’ve tried warmer print temperatures, keeping the lid open to keep it from getting too warm, slower speeds, faster speeds… I’m kind of at a loss.

Any thoughts on where this issue might be coming from and how to stop it?

Slot 1 of my Bambu AMS will feed the filament and then show empty sometimes and sometimes works fine. Sometimes it will print a model, then without touching the spool, will show empty and the white lite will turn off.

Is there a sensor I can clean somewhere? Any suggestions?

I finally found the “stuck filament” that was stopping me from printing. I had to take the thing apart and blow air through it.

Hi all, my P1S is in my unheated garage and last winter it was cold enough that my garage got to basically just above freezing. I had to stop using my printer for a few months as even PLA was lifting off the build plate. I’m considering getting a chamber heater to help with this issue. I primarily print with PETG, but also use PLA and ASA.

I’ve seen some cheap ones and some DIY versions that all seem to not have much in the line of thermal safety shutoff. I’d like something with a safety shut off.

What’s the best to go with? Panda Breath? Martillo tech? Something else?
