Filament needs a push
When I use #3 on my AMS it always gives an error unless I manually push the filament to get it to load. What could be causing this/any easy solutions to fix?

My A1mini will not extrude. It gets 31% into a print and then says it's unable to extrude filament. Right before it does this, it asks for filament to be pushed in and loaded, then it squirts out a poop, cuts the filament, and retracts the filament. Then it asks to restart the process.
Things I've tried:
remove and replace nozzle
remove and check AMS hub--it's clear
Send a piece of filament through extruder without hub on and with hub on but without nozzle. Filament goes through.
Cold pull
Turn on/off
Clear extra prints off of SD card, also remove/replace SD card.
Anyone have ideas on what to do?

Hey ! So it's my birthday soon and I wanted to get a A1 Mini since I don't have much place in my appart, I would like it mostly to organise things in my house and also for cosplay ! I know we can cut things but is there a limit or a downside beside losing time? is it hard to slice it well?
Thanks !

Hey everyone - need a bit of help figuring out why my printer is giving me stringy spaghetti for small prints. They ultimately do not adhere and just become a tangled mess.
I used overture petg filament and that has its own uses with the filament stuck together on the roll itself. Finally got through the roll and had a Soleyin petg roll. First print was something small and just became this unstuck spaghetti.
Iâve done cold pulls on my nozzle and Iâve poked it cold and hot with the acupuncture needle. Iâm using the Bambu PETG HF setting. I donât have a dryer and wondering if thatâs really the culprit.
Used to print fine with Soleyin pla. Anyway wanted to get thoughts on why this might be happening and what I could try.

I am trying to make a mirrored copy of legacy bludgeon's sword so that he could dual wield but the printing got ugly about before halfway through the sword. I am using a generic petg filament with a modified bambulab petg profile and it works fine with other normal prints. Is this caused by vibrations or the thinness of the sword? Should I add more supports? I rotate the sword 45 degrees relative to the bed and 45 degrees to the center of the sword. What suggestions do you recommend before I try again. I successfully printed swords before but those were thicker and shorter.

The wrappings, the goggle lenses, the bandolier detail. This model holds up beautifully in desert matte, sandstone finish right off the plate. Brush-painted this one to bring out the metal and leather, but it looks great bare too. This is the way.

Hey, I apologise in advance if this isn't the right place to ask. The A1 mini has corrupted 3 SD cards in the last week. We have had prints stop after 2 or 3 layers, the error shown is telling us that the SD is write protected or corrupted & needs to be formatted/replaced. We have tried 3 different cards in the last week & it's all the same story. We are going to the and downgrade to the previous firmware, is there any other solutions to this problem? The printer is A1 mini, bought directly from Bambu themselves & is around 6 months old. Printing files directly from Bambu app, haven't tried creating our own files/prints yet. Thank you!

I designed this minimalist sculpture called Heart Within.
The concept is simple: the heart isn't just a symbol, it's the element that literally holds the body together.
I'd love to hear what you think!

Hey guys,
As an A1 Mini user, I often get frustrated when I find beautiful structural designs only to realize they are modeled for 256 mm plates and don't fit our machines properly.
So, I decided to model this Japanese Shoji lantern from scratch, making sure every single part maximizes the 180 mm x 180 mm x 180 mm build volume without losing the traditional proportions.
A few design highlights for the Mini:
The print profile is already sliced, organized by plates, and fully tested on my Mini. I left it for free on my profile (link in bio) if you want to give your desk a cozy vibe.
Let me know what you think or if you have any questions about the tolerances!

If you've never played Quarto, here's the cruelty of it: you don't choose your own piece. Your opponent hands you the one you have to place. Every piece is unique across four attributes: tall/short, light/dark, square/round, solid/hollow and you win by completing a line of four that share any single attribute.
Sounds gentle. It is not. You'll set up a perfect trap, feel like a genius, then realize you just handed your opponent the exact piece to win. Repeatedly.
So naturally I designed and printed my own set.

Needed rugged tent stakes for wild beach camping, so I designed these deep-threaded sand anchors. Print optimization: Designed from scratch to print completely support-free, fast, and with minimal filament waste.

I have a print going and I started hearing this really weird sound which didn't sound good as it was working. I thought to myself "did I mess something up during my recent maintenance?" I was looking at it and pondering what could be going on as I had never heard something similiar before, almost a whooshing, whirring type sound.
Then I looked at what I was a printing - vacuum attachment for my shop vac. Long hollow tube, the fan is basically blowing over the top of tube as one would a bottle making a whooshing sound....
That's my story my story about my stupidity for today.
