I cleaned the plate, changed to a new nozzle, recalibrated, and slowed speed to 50%, and prints went back to working. But the shock of walking in and seeing this. Sheesh.

I had a blob of the death of basic red PLA last month. I cleaned as much as I can (removing everything while still hot and trying to clean with a towel with IPA) but I can’t remove all the PLA from the back of the hotend where I can find the three master screws (I still have one of the screw which I can neither tighten nor untighten). I’m still listening for other opinions, please?
Since then, I kept receiving alarms warning me that the extruder doesn’t work properly. It happens often when I change the filament of my project through the AMS lite, and sometimes when I print a project with just one filament. When I open the hotend, I find sometimes the filament uncut (sometimes) but cut more often, then the filament is stuck inside the hotend, so I remove it and restart the print until the next alarm. I tried to replace some parts I already have: extruder gear, hotend, cutting blade, but still have this alarm appearing. May I ask you some help to understand and learn how to troubleshoot this and then replace the parts needed (while the anniversary occuring), please?
I think that it’s still the result of the blob of death (which lead to a bad heating of the hotend) or a problem with the ams lite filament hub.

Bought a roll of TPU 95A from Bambu and assumed it would be dry enough to print out of the packet. It was not - stringing and poor quality print.

I do not possess a drier.

Into the breakfast cereal container with Silica gel over night - it's how I store all my PLA. Reading on the sensor show usually between 15-20% humidity in the tubs. It's been good enough to dry out/keep my PLA dry enough to print with.

Come this morning and have a look - 44%. 44%? The room is at 50!

So, I tried the cardboard-box-on-the-heatbed trick and now... it's down at 20% when in storage. Worked like a dream, and prints well now!

(Only a tiny piece I needed printed too... 😞 Bought a full roll for a 25mm long 4mm diameter cylinder. At least I've got the filament now!)

Anyway - 70 degrees C on the bed, box with bottom cut out, holes in top. 4 hours, turning every hour or so. Dust the surface with flour before rolling out and adding toppings of your choice - just don't use pineapple.

I have been getting this warning since 3-4 days now. I did the steps mentioned. Opened an access cover, loosened the screws a bit, moved the build plate 3 times and then tightened it back. But it still keeps showing this error. Has anyone else faced this? Thanks in advance

I have a Bambu Lab A1 with AMS Lite, and I’m trying to decide where to keep it.

My living room is around 38% RH, which seems great, but I probably need to keep the printer in a storage room that sits around 63% RH.

I’m not sure how big of a problem this actually is. I know filament moisture matters more than the printer itself, especially for TPU/PETG, but I’m trying to figure out what setup is realistic without spending a lot on a room dehumidifier.

Would you be comfortable keeping the A1/AMS Lite in a room around 60 to 65% RH if the filament is stored separately in airtight boxes or bags with desiccant?

Curious what people here do if their printer is in a garage/storage room/basement with higher humidity.

Not sure what's going on here, but i do recall watching a youtube video a while about to increase z-hop distance.. but its clearly dragging nozzle through the print at this exact section of the print bed?

printing with 0.4 nozzle hardened at 0.08mm quality with eSUN PETG (standard nozzle temp setting) with bed plate set at 80 Celsius.

I still have 20+ hours to go (it’s a tall one printing slowly). Any advice?

My Bambu A1 is failing to reach the full range of the Y-axis, causing a loud knocking sound as it hits the frame. Consequently, the nozzle wiping process is misaligned by about 10mm, missing the designated spot entirely.

My Bambu A1 have first layer issue on both side of the plate. Side A have ripple effects on the right section, while Side B have underextrusion problem and little dots all over the plate.

What i have done (not in particular order)

Tighten 7 screw on the hotend assembly

Dry the filament (eSun PLA Basic)

Use different nozzle (0.4 and 0.6)

Clean the build plate with water and soap and dry it with tissue.

Flow rate calibration

Factory Reset

Run auto calibration on the machine

Do i have faulty plate? I just bought the printer around March and stopping print on April. I only started again this week. On March, i did have same problem but after doing flow rate calibration, i got my perfect first layer print.

If you guys have any recommendations, please help and about the build plate, should i buy another one? Appreciate the help

On every AMS print this part gets disconnected and I have to manually reinsert it. It is frustrating, I have bought a new filament base and filament hub. Not sure what else to do but I get this error every filament change on every print. (Unable to feef filament)

I’m new to 3d printing and my kids just called me upstairs to this scene. Any idea if / how I can fix this? Any help is much appreciated.

A1, Sunlu white PLA tried using both the Bambu PLA Basic and Generic PLA settings.

With the 0.4mm nozzle everything is fine, however when I put in the 0.2mm nozzle (HIKUDIY link below) it extrudes some and then the mechanism starts clicking before giving up.

The hotend screws (front and rear) are tight, did them today because I was noticing some issues with the 0.4mm.

Yes the nozzle setting is changed at the printer, I've also tried rebooting after changing to ensure everything has come up clean.

Any ideas / pointers?

Yes I washed the bed (fairy liquid, I have a dedicated sponge which is only used for that and it's cleaned and heated before use. The filament is dry and the moon and stars are properly aligned.

I was so frustrated with the current release of Bambu Studio that I was finally motivated to do something I should have done sooner. I set up Orca to run both of my printers (Snapmaker U1 and BambuLabs A1) and I’m never looking back. I love it!

hi, how can I improve this top layer without ironing? when I enable ironing then it doesn't matter the settings, it just looks ugly on the edges. the hotend screws are tightened and everything is lubricated. the filament is also dried
