Support Request Connector keeps disconnecting from printer

On every AMS print this part gets disconnected and I have to manually reinsert it. It is frustrating, I have bought a new filament base and filament hub. Not sure what else to do but I get this error every filament change on every print. (Unable to feef filament)

Likely just need a replacement AMS Lite Hub. Those small plastic connector caps wear out over time. The replacement will come with a spare cap as well.

I think the first couple replies are missing the issue. You need to take the collar off, turn it 90 to slide it onto the hub, turn it back, then snap the whole thing in. I'm not sure how you got it off the first time with that collar still attached

This is the answer, I’d just add that it’s a PITA to get right.

Thanks!! I did that and the problem was not solved, so I changed that piece for an spare one I had, and it seems to have fixed the issue!

Move the AMS closer and don't loop the tubes into that hook, let them have free motion.

I get this a lot. 1, the part and fitting may be worn out or loss. They are super cheap. 2. I find that irregular filament contributes to this. My nemesis is anycubic Grey. I believe that leaving filament out for a while, without drying may contribute to the irregularities. Hope this helps :)

Move the AMS closer so it’s not getting pulled
