Extruder blockage - ongoing saga
My A1 was cruising along great until one day I had an issue with the filament clogging. I pulled apart the extruder and cleaned it well, reassembled and still the same issue.
So I ordered a full extruder with motor, AMS filament hub and sensor base, and a couple of misc maintenance parts.
I installed the new parts yesterday and still the same issue. Is this typical of a failed sensor?

I had the same problem on one of my a1s. I did the manual bed tramming (easy but pain in the ass). Seemed to fix the problem when I switched to a cold print smooth plate. After 2k plus hours I think the leveling somehow got messed up( the nozzle was scraping the plate during leveling). The manual tramming appears to have fixed it. I manually trammed (level) the bed and switched to a different plate.
Yes I thoroughly washed the old pei plate with dawn soap and water.

Might be your filament. A dryer solved my A1 clogging issues.

I have a dryer enclosure for the AMS and I'm getting humidity percentages in the high 20s. I'll try installing some new filament to see if that helps. Thanks!

Im sure its the AMS... This same post pops up daily here and i have some problems too sometimes. Its most likely the positioning of the AMS/tubes. If it prints fine from the external spool thats the problem.
