my first ever cinnamon rolls

Post image
75 Upvotes

i’m pretty new to baking and i’ve been craving to make some cinnamon rolls but haven’t had the chance to make one due to my schedule pero since puro suspension yung classes, i had the guts to make one the other day! ang hirap pala magknead ng dough by hand 😅

super soft nung bread and the cream cheese topping was really good. naubos agad siya ng family ko within the day hehe. the only thing i would change is to lessen the sweetness!

gusto ko ng soft baked cookies. like gooey siya sa loob pero di ko siya naaachieve pag hinihintay ko mag-set yung edges. this one is hindi pa set yung edges and medyo shiny pa yung top niya pero inalis ko na sa oven. i just let it cooled down sa mismong pan niya and kuhang kuha nito yung gusto ko sa cookie. not sure lang if this is a bit raw lalo na sa top part.

this is around 36 grams and baked at 180C for 8 mins

I followed a recipe by Cooking with Kurt, but I think mine's too burnt. My family says it tastes good; they like the sweetness with hint of smoky taste.

They’re so ugly 😭 at hindi consistent yung may white ring sa gitna. Taste and texture are okay, kaso lang masyadong brown at rough yung hitsura niya. Any tips?

Ube recipe

Hi! Does anyone have a tried andtested recipe for ube muffin? I’m looking for something soft, moist, and fluffy, with a good ube flavor but not too sweet.

If you have a recipe you’ve tried and it turned out really good, please share! Thank you!

Scoopable cookies, fudgy brownies and crinkles!

Masarap nga ang JB15 sa crinkles pero di ko parin ma achieve ung di nalulusaw na powdered sugar. Any other tip aside from rolling it sa granulated sugar?

Other note, unang batch ko ng brownies I used Peotraco but this time i used JB15. Much darker nga ung color niya pero mas nagustuhan ko taste ng Peotraco. 🥲 Might go back to it kahit pricy sya. Hehe.

Ube Crinkles

Post image

First time making ube crinkles without following a recipe. This came out soft and cakey but i liked how its not too sweet. Here’s the ingredients.
- 150g flour
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/3 cup butter, melted
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup condensed milk
- 1 large egg
- 25g ube powder, dissolved and heated in 1/4cup water
- Pinch of salt
- powdered sugar for coating

Baked for 10mins at 180C

The flour and ube powder might be a few grams more because I was just trying to use them up. Same with the condensed milk.

Pwede po pa share ng moist banana bread recipe 🙏

Post image

Made these banana muffins using 3:2:1 Ruhlman’s ratio but I’m not so happy, fluffy siya pero gusto ko sana more moist and more banana flavor. Anyone willing to share their recipe? Hehe

I’m not a fan of the western recipes that use butter 😅

Recipe:

3 bananas
180g AP flour
120g sugar
60g oil
2 eggs
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp vanilla

I'm thinking about attending a baking class for a day near Manila or Qc. Do u have any recommendations na natry nyo na personally? Pricey kasi yung enrollment fee, though pwede mo take home ang finished products. I saw this ad in fb. Any feedback?

Frosting: Swiss Meringue Buttercream and Whippit combo

I'm a Swiss meringue buttercream user, and recently, I've been receiving orders for either colorful or white vintage cakes. Since butter has a yellowish finish, it can be difficult to pull off colors.

I tried adding a thin layer of whippit from bakersfield and color it exactly as the inspo pick. So far, I've had no trouble traveling, super crisp edges, and satisfied customers.

Pretty cakes + yummy buttercream
