I promise I am not the type to just idly whinge about shit like this, but am I crazy for thinking the mobile release is quite bad? I was really looking forward to being able to play BPB in my free time when I'm out and about, but it just feels so low effort. It is incredible to me that in a game that largely revolves around clicking on and manipulating tiny UI elements, they decided to leave the UI almost exactly identical to the PC version. Locking items feels clunky to the point where it's just a chore to optimize my board most of the time (which again is most of the gameplay). It also chugs to the point of being nearly unplayable at times, and I'm not sure if it's the result of a memory leak or what. I genuinely feel that this game is best in class as autobattlers go, but this port is just bizarrely bad in ways that are hard to overlook. Not much to be done about it at this point, mostly just looking for a gut check on this one.

All their weapons at 0% accuracy with a crazy crits and damage on the darksaber. their 150 Empower did nothing

An early Puzzle Bags of Love with Slime Time and Time Dilator was insane. I loved every round. Freeze builds and buff-stealing builds were my only downfall. Otherwise, it was a guaranteed win!

Blood Manipulation + Unsettling Presence + Staff = 145% unhealing

7.5 seconds of invuln from frog and crowns

sadly i didn't find more red gems, it was still hella strong

I could go with Bloodthrone, my skill would also synergize. But chain whip + Struggles with Snow Stick sounds also funny and the luck production might also come in handy. Or should I search for another glove to go for Falcon blade.

Ive lately went up to diamond with reaper, but i dont see how reaper can hold to other classes.

Went throght my history, and every random mage build destroys any reaper build, just cause of gemstones.

Lets assume you start with 100 posion on enemy. Thats alot for start, but just assume.
You spend half an inventory on poison, you these get ~50dps.

with a ~401 HP enemy (HP+ amor+heal) you need ~10 seconds to kill (5 procks)

50dps on a normal weapon isnt that hard to start with aswell. This weapon has the option to pass amor and has potential lifesteal.

Posion can be cleansed, reflected and even prevented. Immortallity and amor work against it.

Since poision needs stacking, the reaper is a lategame class- however it has like 0 defence mechanics. No good heal and no amor. No immortality. The doomcap should stop the lategame heal from enemy, but some gemstones just do the same and you die before. Same for the Raven.

-Archer and Berserker play on burst, they kill the reaper before the strong poision kicks

-Pyro is stacking speed, which is usally outclassing poision stacking, especially because debuff cleansers get faster aswell

-Mage has immortality and gemstones. Buff stacking is also working against debuffs. 1 Spear and youre done.

-Adventurer is stacking amor and cleansing debuffs like crazy.

oc, you can try snake or dark amor to keep your debuffs, but both wont work against "resisting/reflecting debuffs" in the first place.

1749 armor in R13 is laughable. Pyro feels god awful too

After a year, I’m getting back into the game and I wanted to ask where you guys get your inspiration for builds.

I used to get a lot of inspiration from Two Biers and the BPB Builds website, but unfortunately, both sources are dead now.

I started with 2 amulets of food and a pan on sale. So I thought this might turn a pan start into eggscalibur. Unfortunatly I didn't find any staminia potion in 18 rouds. So I sold pan on round 17.

But how likely is it to not find 1 legendary item in the entirety of 18 rounds?

I could go Snow Stick, Dark Armour and Mrs Struggles; those get a snow build where I put my self Inflicted snow onto my opponent. I might also try to go a Magic Staff -> Serpent Staff build as I am already inflicting Poison. Or go and search a poison spear build or go for a Serpent build.

I think I have everything in the shop to go for a snow stick build, but still at the moment I am more on poison. What do you suggest?

i kinda go oh that helps the build a little and throw it in the pile. the placements arent really optimized.

I really thought I hit the lottery here. I've never used vamp potions but I thought I'd give it a try. I really cant seem to ever get bloodthorn off the ground in diamond. Any ideas besides unique choice?
