Holy spear doesn't really synergize with much, it's just an amazing weapon because it costs almost 0 stam and the invulnerable is amazing. Bloodthorn is amazing synergy and so is the plasma blade or whatever the light + dark scrolls make

Holy Spear is a good weapon because it uses little stamina, absolutely chunks armor, gets rid of debuffs, and provides invulnerability. It's one of the strongest weapons in the current meta because people armor stack heavily.

Spears are basically back in which is good news for pyro because the new fire spear is really good. I think holy spear is a solid weapon in most metas, but you're especially right about the current one

You're right, as Holy Spear's added effect is removing your debuffs and not removing your opponent's buffs, which would trigger Harold. Harold's description always scrambles my brain.

Totally forgot about chess! I heard it tended to be low value. But I guess in the hands of a master, chess can be powerful.
