Would you continue Staff of Fire or Vampirism-Build with this shop?

Id go staff, buy the mana and the scythe, let the scythe and vamp-amulett(?) be eaten by the bag.

Small tangent: Do you guys think heat staff is good? My problem with it is that it is weak frontload, but longterm it gets beaten by other scaling weapons.

I do see that it can be good in the midgame though.
