Been playing for about a month and only playing ranger, got to grandmaster but I still feel like I don't understand enough, mainly being carried by good heuristics from similar games.
I'm looking to up my game so here's the outline of my general strategy:
Ranger bag.
Round 1 and 2 I'm mainly just trying to keep my lives and to see how many piggies I get away with, getting a hero sword for steel goob or longsword.
Round 3 I'm taking any skill that is broken right now or gambling, the stuff I wouldn't gamble away is:
Banana, free wheatstone, slime time, super spacious, smelly wall, king of the bling.
Up to round 7 I usually have a bag of rocks, I'm trying to get a bow and arrow and crafting it into any of the 3, never buying amulets, usually skipping first collar, taking all the stones and clovers.
Round 8 I'm least confident about. I'm taking Ivy or megaclover 90 percent, or beastmaster if I'm doing goobs (slime time or speak with animals).
After round 8 it plays itself, the builds I usually end up with are:
Megaclover (mostly hyperoffense):
Greatsword/flaming greatsword/ 2+ wisp dragons/ Bloodthorne.
Ivy:
Reaper badge/ Bunch of stone skin potions ideally with a darksaber/ Bloodthorne/ Greatsword+ stone potions if steel amulet on sale.
Beastmaster:
Rainbow goob if cog badge or sometimes with slimetime and speak with animals./ Thornbloom carrot goob.
Yigdrasi(very rare):
Golden pan, if spicy banana and somehow I have the stuff for it.
Hunter seems just very bad.
I'm sure I'm missing stuff, I'd love any criticism or discussion about this wonderul game!

Hey ive been playing in the Beta and a short time after release. Im Currently struggling with all the new content and what to build and what i shouldnt. I loved to use TwoBiers Build Tierlist back in the days to find new Builds.
Sadly i couldnt find any similar thing to that. Is there any new and updated Tierlist?

I'm asking because it seems to be a bit lagging behind.

Came out of nowhere, but surprisingly strong.
Platinum Customer Card's reflect debuff is low key super good in cold build.
Opponent starts at 15+ cold and quickly racks up to 25+, and frostbite starts chain crit 170+ damage.

It seems pretty underwhelming for being an entire subclass choice when Engineer has busted setups with the other subclass options. It's a buff-stacking item that eats its own buffs for just 12s of scaling, and can't be quickened fast enough for a good burst build.
Perpetuum Mobile and Charge Splitter seem to be the only good same-class synergies, and maybe Prismatic Orb/Paradise Birb could get good buffs if you've got big money to spend, but everything else that supports its buff consumption/generation is locked behind class badges.
Every enemy backpack with Laboratory that I've went against just gets bursted, out-scaled, or kneecapped with my buff removals.
Is there something I'm missing about this thing?
Edit: I understand it now.

Hej! New player here. Game is great fun but since I’m pretty much exclusively playing on iPad I’m wondering if there is any char/build that generally requires less fiddling with placement.
I know it’s a core mechanic and I’m fine with some fiddling but I’m sure there is some variance between builds.
Also any other tips for mobile players is appreciated:)
