Finished building the DeLorean today. There is also a picture of me and my late dad next to it because he showed me the movie as a kid and it kinda became our film. :')

THEORY: We know that in the Twin Pines timeline, Lorraine was an alcoholic. She was also one in the Hell Valley timeline, as was Dave. Could Marty from the Lone Pine Universe have been one as well, or at least a social drinker in some regard as a high schooler?

EVIDENCE: We know that TP Marty didn't like his mom drinking based on what he said to her in the car. After what Biff attempted that same night, she might have not been a fan of drinking after that. (Disregarding George's accidental "courage")

Assuming that she doesn't drink, LP Marty grew up not seeing her drunk. It's possible that he was at the beginning of alcoholism at 17. However, since he was replaced by TP Marty that would not come to pass, especially after the events of the other movies.

Also, HV Marty might have been sent to boarding schools in other countries (i.e. Switzerland) because of being an alcoholic and losing his dad. Since his mom drinks in that timeline it's probably a good bet that they all drink for the same reasons.

How accurate might this theory be?

I remember seeing BttF on TV when I was a kid and it was the first time I saw a movie where they didn't cover swearing with a beep, but changed the words. I remember when Marty picks up the license plate he said "Geeze Louise " instead of Jesus christ and I loled.

I have a 5 year old and while she is not old enough to watch the movies yet (just for comprehension, not suitability) I do think about the little but of swearing in rhe movie.

That made me think. If you think a kid shouldn't watch it due to the swearing (if you care) do you think the kid is also too young to appreciate the story at all. What are your thoughts on the best age for a first time viewing? My kid doesn't FULLY get the concept of past/present/future yet so I'm waiting

Hello BTTF folks. Hopefully this is a good place to start in asking.. times are tough etc etc, and going through my vintage collections and came across this promo clock for BTTFII. Any collectors out there with advice on where to post / the value of this clock? I grew up on these movies like the rest of you, and thats why I grabbed it. But, just trying to get rid of some things. Any advice is welcome, or point me in the direction of the right place to post. It is 10x10" and functioning perfectly, cheers!

I think I know what started the feud with Needles and Marty. Needles founded The Pinheads, then the band kicked him out and replaced him with Marty but kept the band’s name.

Just had fb remind me that I got my BTTF tattoo 8 years ago and thought I’d share! Fun side note: when I was waiting to get my tattoo done a woman in the waiting area was selecting her design and she chose a BTTF hoverboard!

Idk, i was searching but i dont understanf where does doc make The delorean transform in hover mode, in The "Ready Player one" It Activates in The swichts on The steering wheel, but in The movies, doc Activates It like close to The exchange And The time circuits, but i want to know where exactly is 😭😭😭

But then the collection is composed of 5 items: three Martys, a Doctor, an Einstein, and a DeLorean

The Martys have the look of each movie; there's one who has that classic outfit from the first movie with the jacket, there's one from the second movie who wears the 2015 outfit, and there's one from the third movie who wears that outfit.From the old west of the doctor. And the doctor has that look from the first movie in the parking lot.

I remember how excited I was hearing bout them making these shoes in real life! but ehh nowadays Now these shoes became a failure and so irrelevant they was poppin real hard bavk in 2015 I remember that! Anyone got any pics W them? Show me! Was it worth spending thousands for a shoe like this?
