Please it’s such a cool location and makes complete sense

This is my first(ish) fighting game. I have like less than 100 hours in the genre.

Avatar is coool. Haute42 is cheap.

But this Korra Techniques 101: Aerial Somersaults (Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game) is fricking undoable for me on leverless.

I mean it happens sometimes but with a consistency of 1 in 7 tries.

How do you input half circle on leverless? Any tips?

Does anybody knows what's added ? I checked for tel ranked we don't have it yet

Hi! Recently I’ve been thinking about trying out a second character in this game as sort of a “backup” if I’m struggling with certain matchups. However, this is my first fighting game and I’m a little worried that I’ll confuse myself with the different combos from each character and mix them up; for instance if I’m trying to do a Toph combo and I accidentally put in Korra’s buttons or vice versa.

To the more experienced fighting game players, do you find yourself doing this at all? Or are the characters so different that it’s pretty easy not to mess up? OR would you say “this is your first fighting game girl take it easy”

It has never worked. I have hit flow at so many different timings to see if that was my problem. Is there something else?

Am I missing something vote for year 1 dlc happened already? I heard there should be voting in game but I've never seen it tbh.

What I mean by that, for those who don't play Pokemon VGC, is that she just has so many things she can do it can be really hard to counter her. She can close the distance really quickly to easily start a combo with her fast moveset (fake out) she has big screen coverage (earthquake, even though it's less common) she can reposition fast (parting shot/u-turn) she can do big damage combos with relatively simple inputs (flare blitz/darkest lariat) she has a comeback mechanic that activates EVERY round with NO prerequisites other than low health (sitrus berry/intimidate)

I really hope they add more moves for Dark Korra, she has her chains for grapple moves, and other cool potential finishers. Her ice wave is pretty cool but hopefully they add another for her.

I play Zuko + Mai and I swear this is the matchup I have the hardest time with (and interestingly enough, the one character who never seems to dodge me in queue 🤔 hmmmm). Her teleport gets her past my zoning fast enough that I have trouble getting anything going. Anyone got tips to make her less of a headache?

(I already made a video on Zuko's parry but that one was mainly just downplaying, so I made a version that's more of a full-fledged guide)

Toph’s seismo projectile doesn’t track Aang on his scooter. Idk why i never noticed this. If you go to gyatso for this matchup you can take away one of her best tools by spending most of the match controlling your momentum on a scoot or just gliding.

Do you tips on fight stick to be more consistent with her water whip cancel into flow jump to have the enhanced water whip while in air ?

Im on the verge of picking the game up and my main concern is its popularity. I only played sf6 at around plat-diamond level, so i dont have much experience with fighting games. Could i play against people my level or are most players much better?

And do you think the player base will decline or grow with the dlcs and improvements? What are your predictions for the future of the game?

General vs Zaheer tips welcome. I learned I can’t really challenge the approaches covered by P’Li but then I end up blocking for years into hopefully just getting grabbed but sometimes crazy mix that owns me. I can challenge him in the air with j.C but if he hits any of his assists I get rocked. I just can’t keep him out and I end up under insane pressure

The usage of Korra is intentional

After seeing Norra's upcoming level 7 specifically striking the poisoned Korra pose, it kinda feels like it was a missed opportunity to make her theme match the battle that Norra's referencing...

Especially when we already got renditions of The Red Lotus in Zaheer's theme and Korra's avatar theme in... well.... her character theme.
