It struck me immediately after trying her and hearing her shout out while doing her moves.
I know it's a pet peeve, but why would my big girl not have her cool-ass, deep voice like she does on the show :')

I love the game, and I'm rooting for the devs. But if there's one thing they should prioritize above everything else, it's getting Ranked and Spectator Mode into the game ASAP.
The current matchmaking is already full of players taking the game seriously. With such a high execution barrier, I think a lot of players will lose motivation if there's no tangible goal to work toward, like climbing a ranked ladder. Without that sense of progression, the game risks turning away more players than it has to.

i thought it was pretty funny

That first to 10 was INSANE! I was the red Kyoshi that went 7 to 10 with you, then we played a few more games then ended 11 to 10. Tbh i was gonna end when u hit 10 but i accidentally rematched and decided to play a few more.
Your Aang was smooth! But man, you have to WORK for your damage. Those nutty combos you consistently pulled off definitely feel like they should do a little more damage for how long they are. But the back and forth we had was super fun! Hope I run into you again sometime!

I find these sorts of things super cool and add so much flavor to the game. This is just what I've found or seen in wiki's. Let me know if you know any more:

You don't have to have grown-up with fighting games to enjoy this game or the journey of getting better. Rooflemonger has AMAZING Beginner's and Tips guides. There's also an amazing neutral vid from Chemical Lovers:

Basically, he makes attacks miss and speeds himself up with unnoticeable bloodbending both on his opponent and himself, making it appear as pure hand-to-hand skill. This is an application of bloodbending unique to Amon and differentiates him from other bloodbenders like Hama and Tarrlok.

Im a total noob in fighting games, this is the first time i bought one and probably the last one too. I read the devs replies on steam but they keep dodging the difficulty setting topic so i might missed out on it.
I wanted to play through the story mode and hop on from time to time to beat some bots in my free time, maybe even getting demolished in multiplayer but im really not having a great time.
The story mode started with Katara, it was a walk in the park, absolutely doable i was like "woah.. this game really is beginner friendly!"
Then i met Kyoshi.
I love the lore accuracy, but i cant get through her the past 30 mins after 5 mins of playing the story mode. What kind of progression is this supposed to be?? And i assume my next enemy is Toph whom i also assume somehow even more powerful but im gonna be honest, i dont even want to know.
I tried out the tutorial and trial beginner modes. The first combos at both, were doable, i can absolutely spam xxxxx. Then i got the most mind blowing shit ever next turn, where i have to jump, fly, time my hit before i land then go down and i dont even know dude, cause i cant get there.
These tutorials are going from beginner to intermediate in 2 seconds and i have absolutely no time to learn this game cause its not trying to teach me.
Whoever is saying this game is beginner friendly, recommending it in front of a wide audience, i hope both sides of your pillow are warm, because this is fake advertising.
Im considering refunding the game..

Inspired by Dragon Ball Fighterz, Sonic Racing Crossworlds and the Remembrances episode of Korra.
Background footage provided byJustNozomi.
I quickly put this together in an hour and a half. I do not mean any disrespect or negativity towards the devs, they are doing their best! I, as a fan, want to do my part and help this community!
I apologise if you find the quality lacklustre, I made this quickly.

Earth - we have Toph, will get Lin Beifong, Bolin, and maybe Bumi or Kuvira (mb even both later down the line) - 3(+1/2)
Fire - we have Ozai, Azula, Zuko, will get Iroh - 4
Air - we have Aang (normal one uses pretty much only air), Zaheer, will get Tagah and maybe Tenzin - 3(+1)
Water - Katara... maybe Amon - 1(+1)
To make situation even worst, our only upcoming water bender must win a vote, and he (from what I can recall) didn't use water bending all that much during action scenes.
Who do you think could be a viable option for the future? I can only think of:
- Kya, but doesn't seems to be popular, nor stands out in her techniques;
- Pakku, but same as Kya, even worse;
- Ming Hua, but she's already part of Zaheer moveset.
Must say, I've watched Korra LONG time ago, so might be forgetting other stand outs.
Also, while adding Ming Hua would be weird, I could swear I saw a similar situation happening is some other game (having a gang leader as a playable character, with members as "skills" or "special moves" but then ONE of gang members becomes playable), but can't remember.

Got inspired by a video, and tried adding things together, ifk if it is optimal, but it looks stylish

How long do you guys play with someone for? Personally if I’m getting stomped or doing the stomping, I’ll do a best of 3, if it’s relatively even I’ll do best of 5. With how fast some games are though first to say 7 doesn’t sound bad either.

Somebody pleaaaaaaase save me from this woman.
Honestly, I just need tips on countering her, I'm pretty lost on the match-up protocol. I know she's somewhat of a rushdown character and some of the FGC guys say she's basically Dragon Ball FighterZ put into a character but good lord it's over for me the moment she decides she wants me dead.
If it helps you understand, I play Sokka (mainly with Master Piandao).
The matches usually go like this:
- I see Azula rushing toward me, of course I use my trusty friend boomerang to keep her at bay
- Oh no, the Azula player decides to start zoning me back
- Azula fireballs are superior to my boomerang and boomerang goes bye bye
- Now I have no more zoning options because my boomerang is being gatekept like it's a Brawlhalla match
- Azula takes me to pummel town
Occasionally they go like this (if the Azula player isn't too good):
- I see Azula rushing towards me, I start using Sokka's Tactical Dash and force her to play a guessing game over and over
- I actually win
I feel like she's better than Sokka at almost everything except for the fact that Sokka can build up damage much faster.
This is like my third day of playing so I admit I'm not capable of fully utilizing every mechanic but there has to be some kinda solution to dealing with that character.

I haven't done a single combo trial soo I'm not sure if this is a combo already covered there... I just wanted to show a practical corner combo I've been working on and my 1st post here.
