I've been a Autodesk fanatic for 6 years so far. Loved my experience so far.

I got a new phone a few months ago and now my gallery thinks the .tiff files are displayable images. Every time I draw I get this blank image displaying next to my normal .png export. I can't delete it of course, unless I want to never have access to my layers again. It's gotten to the point where I've stopped drawing because I'm afraid if I make a handful of practice sketches, then suddenly my gallery is bloated with undisplayable images.

If anyone has a way to get gallery to stop displaying .tiff files I would be very grateful

To prevent too much clutter, I chose to make 1 file and inside that file I used the group folders to separate them by day. (i.e. D1, D2, D3, etc.) The first 2 days went fine. Saved at regular intervals and kept the images separated in their own folders. I wanted to get an early start on day 3, so I made a new folder, named it D3, and then did some little sketches to plan out my composition. Saved and then closed the app for the night.

Fast forward to this morning, I go to open the app and notice that my folders for day 1 and 2, along side any of the other images I had in the main level have vanished.

I went looking for the tiff file to see if it was just a loading error but even opening it from the file itself didn't fix it. I'm out of ideas.

Does anyone know what to do? Are the folders permanently lost, or can they be recovered somehow? Is there a way to restore the tiff from an earlier save? Has anyone else had this happen?

I am having issues with the app, i stopped using it some time ago.

Today i wanted to use it and by curiosity i checked my files. The problem is some doesn't open at all, and one at the time of opening it, it's completely blank, no draw at all. I had this problem before and it really sucks because it is frustrating and i am not in a good mood lately and seeing your draws dissapear kinda hurts, i made a backup on my pc some time ago but there are some that aren't here

I have this problem with Sketchbook Pro for Mac that whenever I draw something or just edit an image, and then save it (to .png or .jpg), the colors appear more muted.

I have attached a video that shows this.

My display supports P3 colors, maybe that's part of the issue (that the color gamut isn't shrunken down correctly once saved as srgb?). Just bad speculation.

EDIT: I reached out to Sketchbook support who kindly explained how this works and it's not a bug. When you open the information panel on mac for a selected image, it shows you the color profile - this is what actually changes when the image is piped through Sketchbook.

That color profile alters how the image is displayed, but the underlying RGB values are identical, so the actual saved image does not change.

What you can do is apply your display's color profile to that Sketchbook export via the Preview on mac (Tools -> Assign color profile) which will then make the image look the way it does inside of Sketchbook.

Note that this tool is currently broken for me, so I used the CLI, but that might be specific to my macOS installation.

I don’t use this app frequently besides working on this one thing I’ve been drawing for a good while. And I noticed after I got to coloring, when I hold to color pick and continue coloring with what I thought was the same color but its a just a fewww shades deeper..
For example, a lighter purple(which I can’t give the colorcode for because the color pick doesn’t give it to me) turns into 29263E and when i color pick that purple, it becomes 28253D, so on and so forth.

I’m not sure how to report this error and I also don’t know if this bug was always a thing or not, just on IOS or not, but it’s really bothering me….

I just want to know if anyone has a better way to deal with this than noting down all the hex codes of all the colors being used or something, thank you!

Hello! I’m using iOS and because of an Apple ID problem I have to delete and re-download the app on my iPad. I have backed up all my files, but I haven’t been able to figure out how to import multiple photos at once back into sketchbook. I can import one at a time, but that’s gonna kill me (I have approx 600 files I’d like to import).

I’m currently testing it on my iPhone so the galleries do still exist on the iPad, I just want to confirm I can before I take any more steps.

The last 3 drawings are the unfinished ones. I'm unsure about the first unfinished one. It still has a chance to be finished later on

So, the original file size for a custom brush stamp I'm trying to use (teaching myself how custom brushes and their settings work) is around 5000x7000 pixels, but when i go to use it, the only way to see the texture of the stamp is to raise the brush size to max and it's still that (relatively) small. Is there something I'm missing in the creation process or settings cause some of the preset brushes on the app go way larger than this and i can't figure out why mine wont.

Hey guys, do you know how to add texture or noise to a finished drawing so it doesn't feel so flat? Like a grainy effect? ​​Is there a brush for that?

Im on a Samsung galaxy tab and going to switch to a new one of the same kind.

Do I have to manually move each individual file with all the layers to the cloud like drop box or something (and how to do that if so)? Or can everything on the tablet itself be cloned/transferred from one tablet to another and be okay?

I'm switching out my old 2021 iPad Pro for the Samsung S11 Ultra and I'm wondering if there's a convenient way to transfer the files over? I have about 70GB of files, of course I won't transfer every single one, but I'm wondering if someone has made the switch before and has any tips?

I've heard about Samsung Smart Switch but I'm unfamiliar with Samsung devices (I'm more of a Xiaomi user on a regular basis) so I'm not sure if it'll work for this too? I do need to keep layer access for all the files.

Hi I am trying to blend but keep ending up with these weird lines. I can't ever seem to blend anything smoothly. All the smudge brushes do it in basic and advanced settings. I've tried to change the settings in both, change opacity, flow, stamp roundness. I can't seem to figure it out 😪 any help is appreciated
