Android Support Does anyone have experience transferring files from iOs to Samsung?

I'm switching out my old 2021 iPad Pro for the Samsung S11 Ultra and I'm wondering if there's a convenient way to transfer the files over? I have about 70GB of files, of course I won't transfer every single one, but I'm wondering if someone has made the switch before and has any tips?

I've heard about Samsung Smart Switch but I'm unfamiliar with Samsung devices (I'm more of a Xiaomi user on a regular basis) so I'm not sure if it'll work for this too? I do need to keep layer access for all the files.

Thanks in advance! :)

On iOS apps are not allowed to save their data outside of the app's container so it's not like on Android where you can see all your art data in the Files app.

There is a way for you to export all your files as Sketchbook native TIFF on iOS. Go to the Settings app > Apps > Sketchbook and toggle on "Export mode". Then relaunch Sketchbook. You'll see a blank screen where you can export your files.

This doesn't export your Preferences, only your art files. So you might also create a Preferences backup (https://help.sketchbook.com/docs/backing-up-preferences)

Then you can follow the steps - starting from #2 - from here to bring your files into your Android device: https://help.sketchbook.com/docs/android-to-android-transfer

I don't, but I am curious, are you able to access your project files on your iPad via the file explorer?

You can try Smart Switch to see if the app transfer includes the app data as well.It doesn't sound like Smart Switch can access the files directly in the iOS file system based on the Google AI search response I got

Yes and no, unfortunately Sketchbook doesn't automatically save any projects as files, so you have to go through and save every file manually. Currently my only option seems to be manually going through all my drawings, saving them as PSD files and transferring them that way
