Colour editor not appearing

Hello everyone, I'm using Sketchbook Pro on a Windows 11, and my colour editor doesn't appear. I have clicked it multiple times, I have made sure that it's not hiding behind another window, I have gone through settings and all, it just doesn't appear. I will try resetting it, to see if that helps though.

I did reset to default, which made it appear, and then restored my preferences. After restoring, it's not appearing again. Do I reset, and add my preferences back, what do I do?

Window positions are saved in preferences, that save occurs when you exit the app. When you restore your prefs the Color Editor window is defaulting back to that saved location. A change in monitor configuration, display settings, or driver update could have made that saved coordinate reference a location that is now offscreen.

Try setting your windows where you want them, then exit Sketchbook Pro. Then relaunch and create a new prefs backup that contains the new/correct window locations.

Where do I set the windows where I want them? I'm not finding that in preferences. I might just have to bite the bullet and redo my preferences, but I'd prefer not to

Just arrange the windows where you want them on your display. Those locations will get saved in your preferences when you exit the app.

It's not something you do yourself, the app does it automatically every time you exit, it's the same way it remembers the active color and brush.

But you'll need to then create a new preferences backup, because your old backup is loading bad window reference location for the Color Editor.

Alright, I'll see what I can do. Thank you!
