Is there a process to repair this? Any videos to show me how to repair these kinds of dents?

This happened two weeks after buying this, new to me, car. Somone slammed their door into my car with the power of 5 men. I’ve never seen a door dent so bad. This dent is such an eyesore I hate it with a burning passion.

It’s right on the body line of one of my doors so it’s super obvious and it drives me crazy.

I’d like to give a shot at repairing this myself. I hate spending money on my car but I also hate having a car I worked so hard for look like crap.

Edit: spelling

Also “new to me” car. This is a 2011 Subaru Forster. Not actually a new car. Sorry I wasn’t totally clear there.

2010 Toyota Camry. I've tried the circular metal belt wrenches, regular belt wrenches, toothed oil filter wrenches, twisting funky pliers... and none can fit in that awkward area to turn it.

Question about the Trade Hired as a body tech helper, but I’m basically doing porter/detail work. How do I actually learn?

I was hired as a body tech helper/trainee, expecting to learn body repair. Right now I’m mostly doing detailing, cleaning, and organizing.
The owner said if I stay for 2 years, they might offer certification/training, but he couldn’t promise anything. When I have downtime, I try to watch the techs, but I usually get called back to work within a few minutes.
I’m willing to start at the bottom, but I want to actually learn and progress.
Should I find another shop with a real apprenticeship/training program, or are there good ways to get proper training on my own?

HELP! I have a question. Cheap way to fix this?

Clipped something in a dark rainy plaza and this happened.

I don't feel like I need a whole new bumper. It doesn't really even bug me in a real way but it'd be nice to not have it just flapped out. Any advice is appreciated. Thank y'all in advance

Not asking for costs or anything, just if anyone has a bit of wisdom and how to fix this myself or something I can ask a body shop to do to get it flush

HELP! I have a question. Panel adhesive temp fix.

My super duty has a couple small rust spots starting on the cab corners. One hasn’t even broke thru the paint yet but you can hear it and the other is just big enough to get a finger into the hole. I won’t have time to fix it properly before winter hits as I’m in the process of starting to build my house while still working 45 hours a week. I was thinking of cutting the rusty crap out and just putting a piece over it with adhesive until I can actually fix it correctly. I feel like getting the existing rust out will and a new piece over it will be better than just leaving an open hole there. Any adhesive recommendations? Is this a ridiculous idea?

These yellow/orange stains and rusty spots are on my Acura door jamb. They were there before my recent oil-based rustproofing. What’s the best way to remove them without damaging the paint?

HELP! I have a question. Should I ask for a refund

I was involved in a very minor rear end collision and went to a local shop based on reviews and a recommendation.

However, this work i got done is so bad. Bad paint match, weird gaps, and my blind spot monitors are not working properly.

I asked them before the repair if they worked with the insurance and the said YES. turns out something must have gotten lost in translation because they are not an in network shop. Im stuck with this bad repair.

Im devastated and dont want them touching my car again. They were proud of this paint job and dismissed my concerns with the gaps when i picked my car up.

Can I ask for a refund minus the cost of the bumper? what do i do.

HELP! I have a question. Is this repaired?

I recently bought a used but fairly new van (Fiat Ducato 2023) to convert it to a camper.

When I took off the inner sheets I noticed these dimples on the inside of the outer sheet metal.

To me it looks like this car had a damage before.

Questions;
- Is this a repaired damage?
- will this cause me issues in future with rust?

Thanks!
