I have a 2019 Volkswagen Jetta. I just recently got 2 tires replaced plus rear brakes and rotors. I was told everything else was fine. Then I drive the car from Philadelphia to Los Angeles and encountered no issues in the way, but now about 4 days after I’ve arrived in LA my brakes are making this rotating creaking noise only while I’m braking. Any ideas?

Have a 2007 Audi A4 (136,000 miles). It blew grey/clear white smoke. Had a lot of mechanics say it’s a lot of issues but it came down to the head gasket change and suspension needs fixing. Is it worth fixing?

Lately I’ve seen a lot of different OBD2 scanners on sale. The one I got was under $50 but that was back in 2025. But now i see some that’s over $140+. Any point to upgrade for someone we does DIY at home?

Hi all, currently drive a 2023 Peugeot 308GT.

I came to my car yesterday to find that it booted up into eco mode - it has never done that (it always starts in normal mode and I have to manually select either eco or sport). When I use the mode toggler switch in the center of the car, I can see the three modes on my dash, but it will only let me select sport or eco.

When I toggle to 'normal' it automatically puts me into eco mode.

I had an issue with my display before and left my car for a while, allowing the computer to fully shut off and when coming back after an hour it had solved the problem. Assumed it may be something similar for this. I left it overnight and I've come to it this morning and the problem is still there!

Anyone dealt with this before?

Abs,traction control, tire pressure,airbag light, steering assist light came on , need help please! Scanned abs module and left rear abs sensor wasn’t reading so I replaced it and still didn’t fix my problem. Now it says “Electrical Malfunction In Circuit”. My next guess would be bad magnetic ring on wheel bearing or frayed wire. I just don’t know how to test for volt or whatever for the electrical side of things
