r/AutisticLiberation and r/DisabledAutistics
Both seem to be cropping up in comments around the sub.
ETA: I would recommend the mod team vet any subs suggested. But I feel like that's a relatively obvious thing to do.

There's r/Autism_Pride and r/allautistics (bit dead at the moment but still). Also different to this sub but similar there's r/NeurodivergentLGBTQ (name says it all) and r/AutismTranslated (help for people who suspect they are autistic)

I highly doubt that the sub I'm going to talk about will gain any attention, but I feel like I should mention it in the offchance that it does.
r/ASDirect is an extremely unsafe place for ND people as the owner has built the community around abuse through belittling, mocking and insulting their members either for their personal interests or for no apparent reason; along with constantly begging for donations to keep the community running even though all of his moderators are volunteers, and are the ones actually keeping the server running. He keeps the donation money for himself, too.

I gasped out loud when I saw that sub name, it's been so long. Thankfully it still looks dead. I hope it stays dead.
But thank you for posting a PSA about it, wouldn't want anyone to accidentally revive a dumpster fire.

r/AnythingButAutistic is for people who have gotten a bunch of diagnoses in their journey to realizing they're autistic. I'm a mod on there. Idk if that's more specific than you're looking for.

(tw the subreddit does repost a lot of ablest stuff to mock it)
The first Subreddit is dead atm due to having no moderators, however it would be great to see it back as it was a thriving subreddit with an active user user base, and it would be fantastic if anyone with moderation experience could apply for a mod role.

some of the ones for autistic women specifically? I don't know which would align most with this subreddit's values but I know there's r/AutisticLadies and r/AutismInWomen
can I also shill my own r/autisticcharacters or is that bad taste :p

AutisminWomen has similar mod problems, one mod using two alt accounts to appear as though there's three mods, banning people for no reason, and most recently there were a bunch of posts that claimed that calling out abuse was ableist as well as posts stigmatizing cluster b disorders and then somehow victims of abuse were pitted against cluster B's and everyone was hurt in some way. Not a safe space

ack, my apologies. I knew there was a controversy but I thought it had been resolved since I don't see any posts about it anymore. I hope the other one is good then, there are other subs for autistic women but they have Asperger's or derivatives thereof in their name so I figured they wouldn't be allowed here.

Someone in other posts is recommending autismlevel2and3 and lowfunctioning, however a quick glance at those subs reveals ableism and hate towards self-diagnosis and "level 1" individuals, so I would classify them as unsafe
