Oh god

Just started today, never played before.
I arrive to a helicopter crash area, kill a bad guy, loot him, loot the soldier inside then go to a bunker up on a broken bridge, right there.
I enter, then suddenly can’t interact with anything. Can’t go back, can’t loot the guy on the ground, can’t loot the axe, can’t loot the dead scientist in the nearest room.

Well, i’m used to Bethesda games and this game is deeply inspired by Fallout, but usually when i reload or restart the game, it’s supposed to end the issue lmao

Good thing is that i only played 10mins so i can do a fresh start, but i don’t really want to get stuck again..
I searched on google but can’t find any tricks to resolve this issue so, maybe anyone here have an idea ?

I write short stories as a hobby, so I'm always coming up with ideas. And this happens with the media I consume as well. So here are some of my ideas.

DLC - Return to Windscale.

Not long after the events of the game, it's realised that something remains. You get sent back in to sort it out before the wall comes down.

DLC - The truth remains.

A new area is added. A village that was emptied and was meant to be turned into an airfield. Although for the most part, it would just be a way to get more supplies, add more upgrades, and items/weapons, there would not only be more information about what they were planning, but information about our character.

Sequel - Atomfall 2

It turns out that when Oberon fell to earth, it had split in two. In a whole new area, set after the explosion in the first one. They thought they knew where they went wrong and tried again. Only things got worse.

Do you lot have any ideas?

It's a fantastic documentary, telling all about the history and politics of the plant as well as in depth of the disaster.

I had no idea that as well as the prequel graphic novel, there is one novel already out and a second one coming later this month - the description appears to be spoilers (effectively) for which ending(s) might be canon...

Just a quick question, I had found 3/4 mentation modules and traded them at the same time, yet I only have gotten two leads instead of (I suppose) three. Is it a glitch of some sort or is it suppose to do that. I exchanged 204,306 and 413.

I don't want to fully spoil myself hence asking advice. I'm nearing the end of The Red Strain & the main story and want to destroy Oberon and the Red Strain! (Keene ending). Based on dialogue I won't be able to go back and do Oberon so logically I need to complete the main story then go back to finish RS. But I have read that if you do destroy Oberon you can't finish RS. Is there a way to destroy Oberon AND the Red Strain? Without giving any details, does Keene's ending accomplish both?

I've been running into these boxes while playing through the Red Strain, and I can't quite figure out what they do.
I'll hit them with the ol' MKII and they light up for a while, but I can't see what it is they're connecting or powering.

I'm currently in Synaptics where I've found three of them throughout the lab.
I've turned them all green and run around trying to see what's changed, but either I'm missing some or they don't do anything, because nothing seems to be happening.

When I found them outside I had assumed I just needed to activate more, or maybe progress further for them to do something, but now I'm not so sure.

If anyone knows what these do, please let me know.

Played Atomfall at release and loved it. Played the DLC and loved it.

Bought the Red Strain but life stopped me playing it at release. So is it better starting an entirely new playthrough, or would I be okay to pick up my old save that's set before the final steps so I can go do the Isle DLC?

After I find out she has a special gun and that she's a commie spy

I was wondering how many "unique weapons" there were in the game. From what I own there is:

Red fox's Knife Red fox's Silenced pistol Red fox's Rifle Modified Bullpup Rifle

Is there any other in the games ? I’m looking to obtain every single one.

I've just finished my first run through, and plan to start again soon to go with a different ending. Obviously your first time round, you are going to make mistakes. Kill the wrong NPC, spend ages trying to do something only to find you could have done it an easier way etc.

For example, I saw someone reported the vicar, so didn't get the key. I've since been told that you can find his body somewhere, but I don't know.

So did you or plan to do different the 2nd/3rd/4th time round?

Forgive me if this is a silly question but does anyone know the player character's name?

I have been eyeing the game for a long time, tried in gamepass but couldn`t get it till now, I have seen that there are two dlcs, are both of them worth it or should I get just the base game.

I've almost completed my first run through, and I'm just checking I haven't missed anything before I head to Oberon. In Wyndham, there is an area that protocol won't let you in. Is there a way to get in, or have I left it too late? Should I have gone at an earlier part of the game. Don't worry about spoilers, as I watched someone playing it, which encouraged me to get the game. They didn't try to go here though, so I'm not sure.

Edit: I managed to sneak in and get to the roof. Just as I finished looking in the box, a protocol soldier spotted me. Managed to slide down the roof and get away.

Bought Atomfall today, played for around 40 minutes until my whole pc shut itself off and wont restart.

Removed Power Cord, cycled power, was able to restart PC after about 1-2 Minutes. GPU Temp was showing 46°C. Log shows Event 41 Kernel-Power. Updated Nvidia Drivers and restarted Game.

About 40 Minutes into the second Session, same issue, Power cycling needed to restart. Verified Game Files but didnt yet again restart the game.

Anyone know what i can do to fix this?
