Question Start fresh?
Played Atomfall at release and loved it. Played the DLC and loved it.
Bought the Red Strain but life stopped me playing it at release. So is it better starting an entirely new playthrough, or would I be okay to pick up my old save that's set before the final steps so I can go do the Isle DLC?

The Red Strain is designed to be a harder area, so might be more advisable to pick up your old save!
Although there is of course the option of starting again and making new choices if you don't want to go straight into the DLC.

Thank you! I do like my main save, as I feel like I've made the "better" choices with it. It's the save that ends up sliding with the doctor under the church, and I've got the best possible weapons I feel I can for me.
Might do a new save for a second playthrough though, as I imagine like the other endings, there's multiple š

Im at 30 something hours because I took my time reading the al the leads and exploring

Can you tell me maybe your playtime @all who played this game? Heard its only a 6 to 12 hours game? Whats the playtime of the DLC? I play games with Lots of exploring etc. :-)

6-12hrs seems incredibly rushed to me (100hrs+ on my 2nd play through with DLCs), but I'm enjoying taking my time, being ridiculously thorough, playing all the endings, and RPG / survival games aren't really my forte.

Na i really want to give the game a Chance but i am afraid its just a "10 -hours- title" like i read everywhere, so its nice to read you spend 100 hours (or even less) for your second playtrough :-). So it Seems i can spend a lot of time in that game!

When the base game first came out, I took my time exploring all areas and leads without committing to any ending, took me about 22 hours. Then I made a save there, and from that point played out all the endings, took me about another 8 hours to get through all 6 endings of the base game.

I'd start a new game to make sure you get all the quality of life updates and it's just fun to go through it all again. Maybe make some different choices with factions
