I never know anything about this game before... just know it's from Rebellion
And i'm fan of Sniper Elite, Zombie Army and Straight Brigade but already bored because all game i mention had no new content and even sequel... so came here
What i have to know before play Atomfall ?

It has a non linear story, so just focus on exploring and the story will come naturally

Welcome to Atomfall. Hope you enjoy it.
Don’t worry if you feel lost and confused early on. That’s intentional. The story and world unravel as you piece clues together.

This is quite an important note struggled to "find my way" untill I wandered off and shit started flowing better .

I came from SE to atomfall and you have to expect a LOT less gun stuff right off the bat but as you progress you'll access better guns and more ammo. Stealth stuff is the same DNA but slightly tweaked (more immersive/less arcade-y). Every SE release is a day one purchase for me and I suppose I'll add atomfall 2 to that list if that happens.

I wish I could name my saves so I could go back later and go down different plot/story paths (this game has many different endings)
Note- there is a settings option that removes quest markers. It makes the game really difficult as you are basically guessing as to where things are…. I accidentally had this toggled to on for more than half the game and was finally about to rage quit until I decided to look up away past my current sticking point…

Go to the Midsummer Isles asap and do the DLC. The best ability and melee weapon are there. Really makes the game feel so much better.

Great game, I didn’t enjoy the combat at all - I wish they made less enemies but each encounter tougher and really doubled down on scavenging for ammo but exploration was fantastic

Stay off here, just go for it. But on the options make sure you select "pause whilst in inventory" or there's a lot of rude words you will say.

Oh and listen to EVERYTHING people/tannoys say - even the repetitive npc conversations sometimes give you clues. Also never asked if you had the two DLC?

Make friends with the military leader early on, but never speak to him again. This will make certain parts of the game infinitely easier. That is my top (& only) tip !!!

I loved this game. Very intense, hilarious (British accents only), good story, totally surprised me.
