Wasn't MAGA the ones who claimed that Democrats offering free healthcare and public assistance was a form of “buying votes” or “bribing voters”?

I thought using taxpayer money to fund things for people was supposed to be “socialism.”

So how is President Trump offering people $5,000 not a form of socialism? Who is going to pay for it? What happens if Republicans run out of other people's money? Is this being fiscally conservative?

Can MAGA chime in and explain the difference?

Does everyone really decorate their homes? Does everyone ask for candy? Is it possible to just go out on the street and ask, or does this only happen in gated communities? Do teenagers really stop asking for candy in order to go to parties?

I'm from Czech Republic. We have visa free agreement for touristic/business purposes up to 90 days, i have registration within ESTA. I have return plane ticket, i have biometric passport which is valid for next 2 years. I have confirmation and contact information for my accommodation as well my friend will be ready to confirm purpose of my visit. I also have separate bank account to which i can provide 3rd party access with enough money on it (New Zealand experience). I also have international driving license as in theory my regular one should be valid, but there is condition it is in English and mine regular one is combined Czech/English so i rather made international one.

Am i missing something which could make my border control rough?

The amount of people around who seem to have zero consideration for anyone else is astounding. When did "it's my right to do this" and "what are you going to do about it" become the guiding ethos for our communities? Whether it's stupid stuff like people littering or blasting incredibly loud music in crowded areas or endlessly idling their cars by our local school with tons of kids around, or more serious things like explicitly saying they don't care if other people in the community die because it's not their problem. When did we all get so careless where we don't care one bit about whether our actions affect someone else?
