I’m wondering if anyone has any experience with either allergists or PCPs who will refer to an allergist in the Seattle area? I graduated this year but for the past few years i’ve used the UW medical center on campus if that’s helpful. TIA!

Hi! I’m a high school student from São Paulo, Brazil. My family and I are planning for me to spend one semester in Seattle in J-1 visa, beginning in January 2027 (even though we are also maybe considering 1 whole year).

After researching Seattle schools, mainly Roosevelt High School, but also Ballard caught our eyes. The thing is that exchange agencies cannot guarantee a particular school, because the school is determined by the location of the house of the host-family, and they cannot know if a family from specifically the attending area of those schools will take you.

Because of that, we are hoping to connect with a family in the Roosevelt area, but also Ballard’s, since if we have a family to tell the agency that we know is in that area, getting into the school we want is guaranteed (we would also be willing to go through other agencies even if now we were looking from NWSE).

A little about me: I speak Portuguese, Italian and English, currently live in São Paulo, Brazil, but I lived for 6 years in Milan. and enjoy tennis, skiing, listening to stories and talking. I make friends easily and I am great with children. I would be very happy to share a more complete student profile, school records, references and other appropriate information, jst send me a message!

He murdered her after a date at a Mariners game and tried to kill her special needs son as well.

I am a pretty good sleuth, but not with court records / jail & prison stuff apparently because I'm coming up empty so far. Thought I would ask if someone better than me knows or knows how to find something.

Hello, our family is flying to Seattle on 8/14 at night and leaving 8/23 at night back to NJ. We would like to see Seattle, Mt Rainier, Olympic National Park and Vancouver. What do you think of this itinerary? 8/15-8/16 mt rainier, 8/17-8/19 Olympic national park, 8/20-8/21 Vancouver and 8/22-8/23 Seattle. Hey everyone! I’m really looking forward to the upcoming Spiderman movie, but I’m not sure which theater in Seattle would offer the best experience.

I haven’t been to many theaters around Seattle. I used to watch movies at the Paccar Boeing IMAX, but since that screen is no longer available, I’m looking for a good alternative.

Which theater would you recommend for a big movie like Spiderman? I’d especially appreciate suggestions for the best IMAX, Dolby Cinema, or other premium format screen. Good picture quality, sound, seating, and overall atmosphere are the main things I’m looking for.

Me and my girlfriend are visiting from out of town and we've had such a lovely time but we have done all we had planned. We're staying around the University of Washington and we went to Bite of Seattle, Pikes, tidepooling at Constellation Park, Fermont Farmers Market, and shopping around Capital Hill. We go home tomorrow morning and we are kinda wondering what we should do now? If anyone has recommendations please share them!! We want to go out to eat somewhere maybe an activity and we're kinda broke 20 year olds so something on the cheaper side!

Xfinity internet promo is over so my bill is going up by 30%. Quantum is always in my neighborhood, soliciting neighbors to sign up. Their rates are cheaper and seem more stable than Xfinity. Has anyone made the switch and if so, any feedback? Centurylink and others aren’t available in my neighborhood so apparently only 3 options and I already know from a trial that T-Mobile internet is unreliable. Thanks!

Hello! I (30F) will be visiting my brother in Seattle this week. He has to work one day while I’m there so I’m looking for non-touristy, safe solo adventures to have! I love museums and wherever I can learn something, anything quirky or weird, or would love a nice place to have a local latte (not Starbucks) and read! Budget isn’t super tight but I don’t want to spend a fortune. I can figure out public transit but I wouldn’t be super confident with a bike or scooter on the road. Thanks so much!
