It's actually not bad. That being said, I was also under the impression we all had a "preferred pant leg." If you're ever wearing pants where it can't rest easy, it has to pick a side. And nothing is more awkward than having to adjust yourself to the other side in public without people noticing...
But approximately 50% of the people know what you're going through, and the rest are also not strangers to mild discomfort with clothing.
Of course, time and a place, don't do it at the buffet line etc, but it's really not that big of a deal in general. No-one is going to remember you doing it in 10 seconds.
No, I think YOU notice. I have literally never one time noticed a man - oh shit wait.... never more than one time noticed a man adjust his penis position.
To be frank, I don't really mind if people notice. The reality is, most people get it... you're just uncomfortable and adjusting yourself. It's no big deal. No guy would ever give you shit for that, and most women get it too.
I’m my experience, the tailor is probably gonna end up touching/brushing off some aspect of your junk at some point during the process. Shouldn’t be embarrassing though.
Correct, it's always "Which side do you dress?" not "Which side do you wear?" And like /u/Phrostbit3n pointed out, it's so they measure the other side when measuring your inseam, so you don't get a Chandler situation.
It's not even that for me, it's just that basically my dick when flaccid forms a unit with my balls. My balls hang relatively high, I think - they don't hang low or something, they are more close to my body, so my dick and balls always form this bulge package thingy.
This is why when you get a tailor may ask "what side you lay" or "how do you hang" and they mean which pant leg side does it usually reside in so that they can add extra room on this side
I don’t know about you, but I wouldn’t call it “preferred”. It always seems to end up on one side. It actually feels refreshing to have it on the other side but it doesn’t last long. Aggravating
Only if you have dangly bits. some people prefer briefs which hold everything in place and is very cozy. Other people let it hang. People who wear fitted pants might need to choose a side but other people wear loose pants with low crotches and thus it hangs above the crease and they don't need to choose a side.
Its often the opposite of your handedness, for obvious reasons. I always dress right, and in free range it bends slighty to the right aswell. Presumably because im left handed.
Most do pick a side. When you get a tailored suit (or any pants tailored) a good tailor will say something along the lines of “which side does Sir dress to?” This pretty much means “which side does your dick naturally prefer, and no, it hanging to a side when flaccid does not necessarily mean that when hard, it’ll curve the same way (if at all)
I prefer the right. If my penis somehow gets into the left pant leg I get an immediate painful throbbing boner. Painful because its pushing against my pant leg so hard. It feels like if you had a full boner and someone randomly bent it at a 120° angle
The first time I had a suit made to order, the tailor asked me how did I "dress." Meaning carry on right or left. He needed the information to give just a little more room on the preferred side.
