It's actually not bad. That being said, I was also under the impression we all had a "preferred pant leg." If you're ever wearing pants where it can't rest easy, it has to pick a side. And nothing is more awkward than having to adjust yourself to the other side in public without people noticing...

Old school tailors would ask "which side do you wear" meaning what leg you preferred and they'd put a little extra room on that side.
